Rooms and bathrooms very small even for the deluxe, expensive for what you get

Common areas are nice, service is good

Bathroom very small, bedroom small, mattress super strong; limited food options in the restaurant and you have to choose from the menu in advance of many hours; swimming pool water chilly and not super clean!!

Great little mid-range hotel ideal as a base for visiting the ancient city of Anuradhapura.

Very well appointed hotel with pleasant common areas and a great mid-sized swimming pool. The staff are excellent. Our room was smallish but very comfortable and spotless, with decent linen on a comfortable bed. Good, well equipped shower room with proper towels. Tea and coffee making facilities are available and there is a TV. The hotel restaurant provides tasty, reasonably priced food, with a menu that is pleasingly different to the standard Sri-Lankan fare. Breakfasts are good.

Einfach nur Perfekt

Das Design vom Hotel und der Pool war sehr modern und wunderschön Das Personal und der Hotelmanager sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit Wir durften sogar unser Gepäck zwischen parken nach dem Check out damit wir noch einen Ausflug machen konnten Was sehr besonders war, dass wir wilde Affen beim Frühstück beobachten konnten

We had a relaxing stay and the staff was prompt and helpful.

1. Classy and Elegantly done up property. 2. Staff is warm and helpful. 3. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty.

1. Room amenities are not in keeping with the Hotels class. 2. Upkeep can be be better. Some issues were pointed out to the Management.

Schönes, neues Hotel, leider wurden angegebene, gebuchte und bezahlte Zusagen nicht eingehalten

Recht neues, kleines Hotel mit schönem Innenhof um einen Pool. Restaurant mit etwas eingeschränkter Menue-Auswahl, welches man auch mit Vorlauf bestellen muß. Was dann allerdings auf den Tisch kam, war geradezu sensationell. Sehr aufmerksames Personal.

Unser Zimmer war recht klein, hat auch weder Tisch noch Stühle. Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit Poolblick, Blick auf Innenhof und Terrasse gebucht und bezahlten dann auch den angegeben Preis. Unser Zimmer hatte aber weder Poolblick noch Gartenblick noch Terrasse, sondern Blick auf eine vielleicht 3m entfernte Gartenmauer - mit einer Türe, die klemmte, also kaum zu öffnen war.

War eine sehr schöne Übernachtung mit sehr nettem Service

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt. Man hat uns während des Aufenthaltes immer mit dem Vornamen direkt angesprochen, was ich sehr schön fand. Auf meine Anfrage nach Weißwein, den es in der Unterkunft an sich nicht gibt, hat man sehr schnell 3 Flaschen zur Auswahl ( die top war ) organisiert.

Good Location for experiencing Anuradhapura

Pool and the guide/tuktuk Driver organized by the hotel was really great. Showed ist around in ancient city and created an amazing Experience for us on a crowded full moon day at the ancient sites.

Food is good but quite expensive.

Amazing staff, food and comfortable room

We had a lovely two night stay here and the staff were super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was small but comfortable and tastefully decorated, and very clean. We really enjoyed breakfast and dinner at the hotel - great choices and loved that it was a different menu every night. Pool area was nice although sadly we didn't get time to enjoy!

Very minor thing but our room was on the ground floor at the front of the property and it was a little bit noisy. there were a couple of cockroaches in the room on the first night but this was swiftly rectified by staff and we didn't see them on night two!

Homestay feel but hotel services. Great choice

Lovely property for your stay in Anuradaphura. Homestay feeling but all the conforts and services of a hotel. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, good and helpful staff, nice small pool.

Sfeervolle oase met lieve honden en katten

Sfeervolle oase op loopafstand van gezellige drukte van Negombo. De eigenaar vangt liefdevol een aantal honden en katten op dus je moet wel van dieren houden. Zeer aardige en altijd aanwezige staf.

Séjour agréable

Accueil génial et serveurs adorables. L’hôtel est situé dans la ville mais quand même assez calme. Le dîner et petit déjeuner étaient très bon. Chambre spacieuse

La piscine n’est jamais vraiment au soleil.

Easy calm stay, well located

Very relaxed small hotel with a nice pool. Rooms have everything you need. A decent breakfast is available - we had both Sri Lankan and western breakfasts and both very good ( although go for tea over coffee as the coffee is not great- like much of Sri Lanka). If this is your first night in Sri Lanka- be advised that traditional curries take 3 hrs to prepare, so pre-order before dinner For westerners, the layout of Anuradhapura sprightly seem chaotic, but if you are keen, you can easily walk from the hotel to the ‘main’ part of town and nearby restaurants.

We visited in the wet season, which meant lots of mosquitoes- the hotel did not have repellent, so make sure you take some.

A bit of luxury

Beautiful hotel in the town and I’m not sure anything if accommodation of this quality exists. As well and the great design and lovely rooms a big part of the stay is the incredible staff and manager who were all so helpful, informative and friendly.

A really nice place where to find peace and comfort.

This property is a really nice oasis if peace. Everything is very well taken care of and very clean. Breakfast was really nice and personeel extremely gentle.

There’s nothing close by, but management is always available to call a tuktuk. The small double room we booked was very very small, but very clean and nice.

This was a great way to start our trip in Sri Lanka! Thank you Aryana staff.

The pool area is gorgeous and the food was delicious! We really enjoyed the preset dinner menu and my husband loved trying a Sri Lankan breakfast for the first time. The manager and wait staff were also very helpful and kind.

The wifi didn’t work around the property and the shower door didn’t close all the way, but it wasn’t a big deal.

Superb boutique hotel.

Great hotel to stay in Anuradhapura. In some of the other reviews the food gets some poor comments. We found that if you stuck with the Sri Lankan menu the food was excellent, particularly the chicken and fish curries. Very welcoming host and really attentive staff. They also made an excellent packed breakfast for our 5am safari start.

Great!

The staff were amazing, the menu changed daily and was delicious. There are not many places to go in Anuradhapura so it was wonderful to stay somewhere that was so wonderful.

Price-quality compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka not the best. bicycle rental (24€ for 1 day) and dinner (good but not better than other much cheaper places) pricy

Beautiful

The staff are outstanding. Friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and our vegan diet was easily catered for. The rooms were immaculately clean, spacious, and comfortable. There is free parking behind a secure gate, and the location is convenient for visiting local sites. The pool is beautiful and a great setting alongside which to eat a meal.

We couldn't get the TV to work but then, we didn't really need to watch it.

attentive staff

we really liked this small hotel, especially the very attentive staff, nice rooms and cozy atmosphere. also the restaurant in the hotel was a pleasant surprise - all the dishes were well cooked and served

quite noisy from the outside , dogs were barking the whole night, so the sound isolation in the room is weak

A tasty stay

The Sri Lankan food was a real highlight here. We had an amazing banquet of rice and curry which was some of the best during our visit. It was priced in USD but worth the relative expense. Room was modern and clean with all required facilties (apart from a safe, although gated security was very tight around the property). Staff were friendly and professional.

A mosquito net for the bed would have been a useful option.

Beautiful boutique hotel with great staff and exceptionally good food.

Lovely setting and staff really helpful and accommodating. The breakfast and dinner is outstanding! We only could stay a night but would love to stay longer next time. Would highly recommend you book!
