The room was clean, the AC was great, a good bed, some of the breakfast items were good (excellent yoghurt and syrup) and the serving staff were really lovely people. Also, decent wifi.
The location of this hotel isn't great - but then, the whole city lacks a 'centre' with restaurants and tourist-focused infrastructure. On reading the reviews linked to this hotel once we were actually there, on booking dot com, we really did get the impression that too many of these were fake - so please be aware of this. The rooms were ok/passable but due to mosquitoes from dusk onwards, there was nowhere to sit or have a drink other than sitting on the bed in the room. The pool looked dirty, and we didn't use it. If you order the eggs for breakfast, order them without salt, as they arrived on our first morning totally over-salted. For £100 a night, this place just felt like a total rip-off. I don't say this lightly, but do avoid this place.
