About this house rental
Large three level four bedroom duplex located right on the beach. Second floor has two bedrooms. Bedroom one features a king size bed, a dresser and an attached bedroom with two twin size beds and a view of the ocean. Bedroom two features a double bed and a dresser. The third floor has two bedrooms. Bedroom three features a double bed and a dresser. Bedroom four features a queen size bed, storage drawers and closets with an attached bedroom with two twin size beds and a view of the ocean. The ocean can also be seen from the porch on the beach side of the house. First floor has one full bathroom and third floor has one half bathroom with a stand up shower. All rooms including bathrooms, have new wood flooring with the exception of bedroom three, which has new carpeting and the kitchen which is tile. Big deck on street side of the house with a picnic table and grill. Excellent for extended family, family reunions, friends, etc. Air conditioning, TV and free internet included. Located close to shopping and restaurants with a pub, convenience store, diner, laundromat and hair salon directly across the street. Space for 2 cars in driveway with additional on street parking. Paid parking lot located across the street.

We enjoyed our stay mostly because the location right on the beach could not have been better. Part of the view is obstructed because of the neighbors but still nice, especially from the third floor and bottom floor sun room. Upon arrival we found the house to be very sandy, understandable as a beach house, but expected it to be professionally cleaned prior to checking in. Not the case. My biggest issue was with privacy. The walls are thin which is fine but there are areas of the house where the cracks are wide enough to see the other half of the duplex. You could easily hear the neighbors talking and moving around. This was an issue especially when putting my kids to bed (both under 2 yrs old so they’re in bed early). The pictures of the house on the website are not accurate. They were clearly taken a long time ago.
