The location is great for exploring that part of Wales and even for going to the Bristol area. You could walk to Tintern and other local villages and the whole Wye Valley area is on the doorstep. It is a lovely area. St Arvans is a pleasent place on the Chepstow to Monmouth road and Monmouth is worth a visit. Directions were accurate and easy as was the parking and Elizabeth contacted us to ensure all was well. We do not have breakfast but the menu looked very good and the breakfast room is clean and attractive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and in all the accomodation was excellent.
Nothing to change or dislike. You could may far more and not get as good.

Wonderful host. Comfortable and spacious room for myself and my friend. We looked forward to chilling here in between our ventures.
Nothing. The only reason I gave a 9 is because there was a minor issue with bathroom drainage. Nothing to write home about.
In effect for the cost this place is a 10.
