Comfortable bed and good location.

You have to shower in the bath. It is not "hiker friendly, as we had to carry our bags up 2 floors on narrow winding stairs, and breakfast service does not start until 8:30am.

This hotel is an absolute gem and a masterpiece of style. From top to bottom, the property is spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated with a quirky, unique personality. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, featuring brilliant beds for a perfect night’s sleep alongside stunning little touches that make the space feel truly special and to aid with a brilliant nights sleep. Downstairs, the restaurant serves outstanding food paired with a great wine selection in a fantastic atmosphere. However, the absolute best part of the experience is the owners and staff, who are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. For the high quality you receive, the entire stay is exceptionally well-priced, and I cannot recommend it enough

Staff were most helpful, attentive and friendly. They prepared our room early so we could change for a wedding and took our luggage to the room whilst we had a coffee. The location of the room though central, was not overly noisy. Breakfast was delicious, staff attentive and served quickly. We would definitely stay again.

The room was charming and the attention to detail was faultless but the decor rather tired. The unsuite was functional but could do with redecoration.

The room was clean and comfortable

We had trouble accessing the key safe and were eventually helped to get in by an employee at the neighbouring Indian take away who said he’d had to help others before. Luckily we are fairly agile for our age but would like to have been warned about the narrow flights of stairs and uneven passage ways to get to our room. A couple of times access to the narrow hallway was nearly completely blocked by other guests luggage which had been dropped off making any emergency evacuation very hazardous. We waited nearly an hour at our table for our breakfast and it seemed that the staff were overstretched. Others at another table had to delay their taxi pick up as they too had waited so long for their breakfast.
