Really central location, very clean and easy to access. So many cafes and restaurants on the same street as the cottage and it’s really quiet.
The bed in the smaller bedroom is quite firm, but fine for a few nights.

Location couldn’t be better. The garden area was really a bonus.
It’s nit picking but I couldn’t open the bedroom window. The front door was heavy and sprung back.

The location was ideal - just a short walk to the Shambles, with a grocery, restaurant and pubs a few steps away. The cottage was charming, with quirky features such as sloped floors but nicely remodeled bathrooms and kitchen. Access to lovely back garden, as well.

Great location just a few minutes to reach The shambles, plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes close by. Nice to have space to spend time socially with family as opposed to a hotel room. Kitchen facilities were good
Communication on the day could have been better. Parking permit wasn’t available as was in use by cleaners prior to check in so had to find alternative parking at an additional cost. Parking in the zone once we had permit was several streets away so not as nearby as indicated. The bed in the second room was very hard and we ended up using the duvet to soften it however the spare linen in the wardrobe was dirty and stained. The window frames were in poor condition and in need of repair. The lounge ceiling had cracked and the paint was peeling and flaking. Walls were badly marked in places and the silicone in shower area was mouldy and black. As we were travelling with older family members the unevenness of stairs and floors was a little concerning. I had read this but was a little worse than expected.
The cleaners had made the place smell fresh but there were discarded make up wipes under one bed so it hadn’t been thoroughly checked and cleaned prior to our check in at 4pm despite previous check out being done 6 hours earlier.
The porch could do with lighting as it was difficult finding the lock and use the key safe as natural light faded
Due to uneven floors in the cottage as well as the access through the main building and steps I would not recommend this to anyone with mobility issues
I booked based on previous reviews and the photos online but these were in my opinion somewhat deceiving.
