Passable

The location. We liked the three bedrooms.

The downstairs sitting area smelled bad. Like dirty feet. At check in the ac was off and one of them did not work. It took 45 minutes to cool down the place. When we got there it had to be 90 degrees inside. And there were no instructions on how to work the AC or water heater or washing machine.

Excellent, kids like it.

A 2-story house makes it really convenient for a family. People who woke up can go downstairs to eat and watch TV and work on their computers. The other people can sleep upstairs in the 2 bedrooms without being disturbed. Kids loved the 7-11 store right at the corner.

It was a little confusing. The taxi driver couldn't find the exact location. Good thing the host picked up the phone after a few tries. We got to get to the reception desk across the street. If it has more closets it would be perfect.

Great location as an introduction to Tokyo. Self catering & great to wash & dry our clothes.

Self catering. Washing machine & dryer. 2 toilets. Easy walk to Shinjuku station. Reasonably quiet street. Lots of eateries & shops within walking distance.

Spacious for a big city

This property was new and clean. It’s a stand alone villa so quite spacious. Comfortable large beds and a useful kitchenette with large fridge. Great shower facilities and washing machine/dryer. Location was a bit far from any train station (800m) but right around the corner from a big supermarket (100m). We were shown how to use the air conditioning systems and washing /dryer when we were allowed to drop off our bags before check in time. Keyless entry was great too.

Has a traditional seating areas - small for family of 5 Australians (with tweens) - therefore no couch, so hard to sit on the floor. There were no instructions in English for the kitchen facilities and a guide to using the house would be useful. Microwave didn’t work. Right on a road so you can hear everything when people walk past at night.

Superb

The whole house in general was cozy and comfortable. The sleeping area is comfortably big and the heaters worked fantastic. It also had two toilets and sinks, which were nice to have.

The dryer filter was full of lint and didn't dry the clothes. I cleaned the filter and it worked fine after that. Also, there were limited storage solutions, especially when needing to hang up clothes.
