I appreciated the closeness to a variety of places to eat. Within walking distance, I had nice options after a long day of travel.
There was plenty of space to spread out in the facility. Comfortable beds, with noticeably clean sheets are always a plus! I also liked the small shelf, and outlets attached to the wall near my bed.
The staff was very accommodating in assisting me with entry when I arrived. And, helpful when I needed to store my belongings to attend an interview on my departure. All the staff were friendly, and professional without being too stiff.
I prefer to stay in hostels when I travel not only for the budget, but the camaraderie of fellow travelers . That being said, having a room with beds that aren't bunks would be welcome.
Or, caping a room at 6 or 8 bunks. (Ten's a lot of grown humans, with stuff, packed in a room.)
More outlets in the common areas that are functional would help, also.

Excellente auberge dans une zone calme. J'ai notamment apprécié qu'on m'ait ouvert le matin de mon arrivée après un trajet de nuit. Les salles de bains sont vraiment grandes, pour une fois que dans une auberge on a cet espace, c'est pratique. Idem pour les casiers qui permettent de ranger sa valise ou son sac de voyage sans souci. Et vendre des boissons fraîches, c'est appréciable également.
L'emplacement n'est pas parfait même si ce n'est pas si loin du centre (j'ai fait ça à pied). C'est surtout que le système de transport (bus) de Détroit n'est pas fou, que la gare Amtrack est éloignée, etc. Donc y'aura toujours un compromis à trouver selon les endroits que vous comptez visiter.
