UPDATE: The $30K shoreline investment is completed!! Lots of grading, a concrete ramp to the dock, widening of the dock, new ramp to dock with handrails, and lots of granite "rip rap" along the shoreline has been installed. Hoping to build a unique kayak launching area soon! Getting to and from the dock will be much safer and easier. We also added new bunk beds in the upstairs bedroom. Plus a couch and game table in the basement replacing the treadmill and weight machine. See new pictures! --- Looking for a relaxing place on the lake? You found it! Very private. Gentle slope down to year round water. Separate parking area for boat trailers. Large back porch overlooking the lake with rocking chairs and outside dining. Firepit with plenty of seating for those peaceful nights and amazing star gazing. VERY clean lake, perfect for swimming and fishing. Some fishing supplies and swimming floats available. Rent a pontoon or jet skis at local marina. Lots of shops and things to do in the area. Brasstown Bald is highest mountain in GA (you can see Atlanta on a clear day)! Waterfalls and Wineries everywhere. Harrah's Casino in Murphy, NC is 20 minutes away. Helen, GA is 40 minutes away for a "Little Switzerland" type experience (especially Octoberfest!). 3-bedrooms with 2 1/2 baths. Master has queen bed, upstairs guest bedroom has bunkbed twins and an IKEA twin trundle bed that slides out for a queen size bed. Downstairs bedroom has a King bed and twin bunk beds, along with a large private bath with heated floors. TV, Couch, and Game Table also downstairs. Washer/Dryer upstairs. Double gas oven in kitchen. Large great room with great appliances and real fireplace. Surround sound speakers make the room great for movies and ball games. Outdoor speakers on the back porch too. (Surround Sound and Outdoor Speakers not working at the moment due to someone damaging the Receiver). Working on a solution. Firepit overlooks the lake and dock. Fishing off the dock usually results in success and loads of fun. Teach your kids how to fish the old fashion way with bamboo rods growing on property! This is a great place in a great location. It is just a short drive to all the local mountain attractions and the lake is perfect. My son was able to catch the fish he could stand right off the dock. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Mr. Arnett’s house is very clean. The lot is beautiful! I love just sitting on the porch with its view of the lake. Would love to stay again!!

Aside from the overall cleanliness and layout of the house, the kids had to go no further than the backyard for all the fun they could want. They stayed occupied without ever having to leave the property. Adults could just sit back & enjoy their happiness.

Plenty of level ground for parking, Very comfortable bed. Beautiful view of the lake. I could sit on the back porch all day looking at the view. The water was a little too cold to swim right now but we tried it anyways. My hubby caught a few fish. We took our kayaks and I enjoyed just paddling around in the cove. NO boats or wave runners to knock me over. Nice and quiet is what I wanted and it live up to that. I never found the hammock but that would have been great to nap in. We had most of what we needed for the stay. I would just suggest maybe instructions on how to work the thermostat. We had a little unexpected delay getting in but was resolved quickly. The pictures are true to what you get. Everything feels new (not run down or falling apart). Would love to go back when the weather is warmer and get to swim around more or just sit and watch the geese again. Thank you Bob for allowing us to experience your little piece of heaven.

The house is beautiful and in a great location. Our ages ranged from 6-72 and everyone loved the house. We would definitely stay here again and would love to come during the summer. The kids especially loved seeing the deer every day that came into the yard and fishing off the dock.

Our stay at Bob's beautiful lake house was so wonderful! From the moment we arrived we were in awe of the beauty of the lake, yard and home. Our children loved playing by the dock, on the swings and with the fun bunk beds! It is a truly peaceful and calming place to stay, we loved every minute of it! Bob was amazing and kind to us, answering questions and helping us with recommendations of fun things to do. Our trip was not really planned ahead of time, as we headed north to avoid the most recent hurricane. Bob was so thoughtful to work with us and we really appreciate him! We look forward to hopefully getting a chance to stay in this beautiful place again!

Great location on Lake Nottely. The property is deep in a cove off the main body of the lake. Secluded enough to let kids splash around in the cove and play in the paddle-boat, but a short boat ride to the main channel for excellent sunsets. The house was very comfortable for a large family. A shady yard down to the water made it easy to relax on the long porch in late July. Easy to get to, easy to move items to and from the house, and the digital amenities to keep kids satisfied while parents relax.

We had family in from St Louis and they had a great time staying at the lake house for a week in July. Bob's place is nestled in a quiet cove away from the busy main channel with its boat and jet ski traffic. The kids spent much of their time swimming and paddle boating in the relative safety of the cove and the fishing from the boat dock was pretty good also. The beds were very comfortable and the kids had their choice of bunk beds or twins. The fire pit was used a few times for smores and just sitting out and enjoying the lake scenery. A good time was had by all.

Great Location
This is a great location to do many things. House has plenty of parking for anyone bringing a boat. Wife and I spent the majority of our time fishing and relaxing at the house. The home is even better than the pictures. Feels nice and secluded from neighbors due to the large lot and wood line. Our adult kids spent their time hiking and exploring the local towns. Bob is super quick to respond to any questions. Just an overall great experience! Thank you Bob for letting my family enjoy your beautiful home!

Best rental home in North Georgia Mountains. Bob’s home was very clean and well stocked. Beautiful views all around the property. The fire pit and dock were a great place to hangout. Conveniently located to grocery store and square in Blairsville. Great fishing off the dock. Only con we don’t live there. We will definitely be back.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need to cook a meal for your family. There are also some great restaurants nearby. I highly suggest Mike’s Seafood restaurant.

We had a great stay at the lake house. We went fishing, had campfires, explored the area and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The host is extremely timely with responding to any questions/concerns . The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that you will need to cook a meal for your family. There are also some great restaurants nearby. I highly suggest Mike’s Seafood restaurant.

Beautiful Escape
We really enjoy our stay at the Arnett home, it’s a beautiful quiet hidden gem. It was so peaceful, everything was very clean and well stocked. Bob was very nice and helpful during our stay. Will definitely book again with the family. 😊

Great place!
We came down for fall break with my family of 4 (boys ages 9 and 12). No swimming because it was a bit chilly but the boys absolutely loved fishing off the dock and paddle boating. We also loved the swings under the deck and the huge fire pit! A beautiful property in a gorgeous area of the country!! We hiked, explored Helen (highly recommend) and enjoyed a lot of down time! Thanks Bob!

Fantastic Property on Quiet Cove
We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful property. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. The location on the lake was great for us because the kids were able to paddle board and kayak in the nice quiet cove without worrying about traffic from the busier part of the lake. The lake access and dock were terrific for putting in the kayaks and paddle boards and we also spent hours just hanging out or floating in our inner tubes. We love nearby Meeks Park and were pleasantly surprised to be able to attend the Sorghum Festival while we were in town. Bob is extremely responsive and informative. I would highly recommend this property and hope we will have the chance to stay here again in the future!

The kitchen is well stocked with pots & pans, dishes, utensils etc., everything needed to cook at home although we ate out most nights in Blairsville or Blue Ridge. Beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. It was great being able to keep our boat docked at the house so that we could easily get out on the lake every day. We couldn't find the hammock mentioned in the house info book but we did enjoy trying out the paddleboard. The fire pit area is great as well as the huge back deck/porch with comfy rocking chairs and peaceful surroundings.

Great Local for Kids
Great Family trip. The property had everything that You would want in a summertime property for kids. Right on the water. kids can walk to the dock, fish off the dock, great fishing right in the cove. Such a great visit. So convenient for all. Thank you Bob for a great week.

Had a great stay! The house is comfortable, well equipped, super clean, and has great access to the outdoor lake life! Typical evening for us was to cook out on the grill, eat on the deck, fish, paddle, and swim in the lake, build s’more at the fire pit, play games on the deck, and finish with a movie. Sleep in the comfortable bed, wake, explore, and repeat the evening activities! We all had an incredible time!
