If you are looking for a serene place to relax, enjoy and unwind…you will love our oceanview home. We have a direct view of Rathtrevor Beach from this 7plex in Tanglewood Pl, Parksville. Tanglewood is a community of privately owned units adjacent to Rathtrevor Provincial Park and we are 1 minute or 2 of walking distance to the beach access to the famous Rathtrevor Beach. The best part is that you will have this great view right from your home away from home! Sit back, chill and enjoy the view! More information The view: We are positive that you will fall in love with our home. And not only that…you will wake up to this gorgeous view right from the Master bedroom on our king sized bed. The master bedroom also has direct access to the deck for you to enjoy the serenity and the breathtaking view of the beach with the beautiful Arbutus tree from a distance on your left overlooking the beach. Sip your coffee in the morning to this soothing view. The space: We have repainted the entire place to soothing Benjamin Moore colors. This is a 2 br 2 bath apartment of about 1100 sq ft. for your enjoyment. The deck: BBQ grill with 2 lounge chairs as you soak in the view from a quiet distance awaits you. Gourmet kitchen: It has been updated to white quartz countertop on the perimeter and quartz backsplash for a refreshing white kitchen look! In contrast, the kitchen's island is in beautiful black granite giving the entire kitchen a modern yet coastal feel. Stainless Steel appliances and with everything you could possibly need from coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, blender,. Fridge, gas range, microwave and dishwasher for your convenience. Dishes, serving bowls, pots and pans, cutleries, wine glasses and basic kitchen stuff are provided. Furniture: Beautifully decorated to make your time away from home as comfortable and as relaxing as possible. Linens and beds: You will surely have a refreshing sleep with our. King sized for the Master bedroom and queen for the 2nd room with varying degrees of softness for your pillows The Italian made sofa bed also has a memory foam mattress for your enjoyment if needed. Extra pillows, comforter and blankets are available. Soft linens and towels are also provided for your use during your stay. If you don't like the morning light to wake you up (some people love it and some don't), please bring sleeping eye masks with you. We have blinds in the entire place even for the very top ones. Bathrooms: The ensuite is a 5 piece bathroom with a soaker tub and a glass door shower on the other side. The 2nd bathroom has glass door shower. Heated floors for your comfort for both bathrooms. White soft and fluffy bath towels as well as big beach towels are also provided. Dryer, hand soap, tissue and toilet paper are available for you. For families with toddlers: We have Graco play pen Business: For those of you needing a work desk, we have one in the 2nd bedroom. Laundry: Front load Samsung washer and dryer are available for your use. Iron and ironing board as well if needed. Road to your Oasis: It takes a ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay, West Van to Departure Bay in Nanaimo to get here. The BC ferry ride usually takes a short hour and 40 minutes. Then about 25 minute drive from Departure Bay to Tanglewood. If you are coming from Vancouver downtown, the drive to Horseshoe Bay could take about 30-40 minutes. Give yourself ample time for the ferry. I strongly suggest for you to book reservations so you don't have to line up for the ferry. All you need is to make sure to be there at the latest 30 minutes prior to sailing time. Otherwise your reservation doesn't get carried over to next ferry time. Here's the link: (Website hidden by Airbnb) If you're flying in from Comox airport, you can rent a car from there and be in Parksville withkn 45 minutes. The beach: Rathtrevor is about 2 km of beach walk and you'll see Rathtrevor Provincial Park on your left. Low tide happens quite often so your walk could be as long as you feel like it. What else : ) Toys and game boards are available as well as 2 smart TVs! Wifi available. Well we're hoping that you will be spending more time bonding with each other than being glued to those electronic gadgets that some of us can't live without. : ) Guilty one here too! Beach toys: Of course with 2 boogie boards, beach chairs and a beach wagon to accommodate your beach stuff as well as a cooler. Wifi: Of course : ) ! Password is written inside the binder on the kitchen island for you. Smart TVs available in the Master bedroom and living room. If there is anything else that you would need or we've missed please don't hesitate to email or text message me and we will try our best to accommodate you within our means. Enjoy your stay!!! Guest access Parking: 1 parking right across from the building beside guest parking. Parking is labeled #24. Beach access: As the road starts to slope down from where the 2 storey building is, you will be walking past a few townhouses and the access would be on your far right. It usually takes a minute or two. No public access to this. Interaction with guests You can always reach me via text messages, email or through the Ring doorbell/cam that we have. Other things to note: We charge an extra $25/person/night after 4 registered guests including kids from 1 yr old and up to a maximum of 6 guests only including kids 1 and up. We request that you load the dishes, pots and pans and please make sure the dishwasher is running before you leave. This will really help the cleaners to stay on time for our next guests. Rathtrevor Beach is beautiful and Tanglewood is perfectly located to enjoy this exceptional natural setting. We are familiar with other properties at Tanglewood and always enjoy our stay. This time was no exception, it’s a wonderful location. If you were staying more than a couple of days the lack of a chest of drawers in either bedroom is a drawback. Also the white towels are going gray. This is the most expensive pricing in Tanglewood and seems overpriced relative to other units.

Much Needed Getaway
We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful condo. The accommodations were clean and quiet and we found everything as advertised plus more! Joyce was easily reachable and accommodating. I highly recommend this unit! Bananagrams, good food, wine, sisters and a long awaited visit with the cousins!

Great location, great host, clean property. Check out was 10am, which we found a bit early after a Saturday night out with friends. 11 is more the standard and would have allowed for a leisurely breakfast and exit.

Fantastic Getaway

Very nice suite and outstanding location. Closer to the beach than most other units in the resort and has a great view of Rathtrevor Beach. A wonderful ocean breeze can be felt on the large patio and throughout the suite if the windows and doors were open.

Delightful
This is a beautiful rental property in an amazing location!!! The property is located very close to the beach, restaurants, the town of Parksville, mini-golf, and Rathtrevor provincial park. The townhouse is exactly as advertised, warm, welcoming, comfortable and is well appointed!!! We loved the welcome package and note and felt Joyce was very responsive, friendly, warm and kind in all her dealings with us. I would t hesitate to stay here again and HIGHLY recommend this listing. :)

Little family getaway
We have a hectic life and so were very happy that we booked 3nights at Joyce lovely little piece of heaven! I was so relaxed when we returned back home.
Joyce her home is perfectly situated, super family friendly and amazing area, few minutes walk to the beach... oh and dont forget the lovely evenings we had on the patio with a glass of wine or the morning coffee I had and just watching the eb and flow...
Everything went super smooth! Her apartment was super clean and everything you need was available and if you couldn't find it you just shoot her a text and she helps you out as soon as she can (like right away;) )
Definitely a recommendation for our family and friends!

Beachside Paradise
The pictures look good but the real thing is even better! We just came back from a wonderful week stay in Joyce’s home and it was just perfection! You are hit by the view when you walk upstairs to the condo...it is just stunning. Then you take a look around your “home away from home” and you will be ecstatic that you picked this condo to stay in. Beautiful furnished and decorated, just like out of a Pottery Barn catelogue, every detail well thought of and the kitchen is lovely and well stocked. We have been going to Parksville on vacation for years, we even stayed in the townhouses at Tanglewood, but this condo beats them all, hands down. Fantastic location right on Rathtrevor Beach, with the beach a short walk from the unit. It is also a short drive into town and for the kiddies aside from the beach, which goes on for miles, there is a mini-putt a short walk from the condo and for the adults, the restaurant at Tigh Na Mara is a short walk away and is really good. But you may not want to tear yourself away from the comfort and the view from the well furnished balcony and just BBQ at home, like we did most nights. I couldn’t recommend this condo more and we will definitely be back! Thanks Joyce for sharing your little piece of paradise with us! Jane and Rick

Tranquil and luxurious Oasis
From booking to check out Joyce was a lovely hostess ,thoughtful and easy to talk with.
My daughter and I wanted a spit to enjoy the beach and have some time together and we found both at the beach house.
The view was marvelous and the condo was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.
As my daughter is attending school on the island we will definitely be back!

Paradise Regained
Our stay in this Oceanview Oasis was perfect from the first minute we opened the door to the last time we closed and locked the door behind us. It was spotless, and it was so well equipped that I didn’t have to bring anything extra. The view from the condo is breathtaking, and I spent a good portion of every day looking at the sea from both the windows as well as the beautiful, large deck. The beds were very comfortable, and the furniture was comfy as well. We really relaxed for the month we spent in this lovely condo. I would definitely recommend this paradise to anyone looking for a perfect, relaxing holiday by the sea, and we will be back for another stay in the future. Thank you for making such a beautiful home available to us!

Amazing Stay!
I stayed for 5 nights at this stunning property overlooking Rathtrevor Beach. Joyce was a great hostess. She answered all my questions promptly and was such a pleasure to deal with. The property is as pictured in the beautiful photos on the listing. Everything was clean and so well organized! There was even a lovely welcome gift for me when I arrived :)
Toiletries such as hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided, which saved valuable packing space. (Thank you!)
The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, small appliances, some spices, olive oil and margarine. I had everything I needed to prepare my meals during my stay.
The condo was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There was an assortment of pillows on the beds, so it was easy to find one that suited me. The window seats were very cozy to relax on and watch the tide come and go.
The condo has an amazing view of the water. It was so nice to sit and relax on the balcony and watch the water or the hummingbirds flying around. There is a table on the balcony that was perfect to sit and have meals at, as well as a hanging lounge chair and a reclining lounge chair. Perfect for enjoying the morning sun.
The master bedroom does get fairly bright in the morning due to the huge East-facing window that isn't fully covered by blinds, but a travel eye mask can help you sleep in longer if you don't want to be woken by the sun.
The condo is a very short walk down a hill to the beach and is adjacent to Rathtrevor Park. When the tide is out, it goes out really far, so there is plenty of beach to walk.
There are many parks to explore in the area, as well as a Tuesday evening market in Parksville, which was really neat to wander through.
I loved my visit to Joyce's condo! This is now my favorite place to relax and smell the salt sea air. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely Parksville Beach Hideaway
No detail went overlooked on this property! From the thoughtful welcome note, to the basket of treats for our 8 year old son, to the beach chairs and toys, the perfectly coordinated colours and well appointed kitchen, the books and games for the rainy days, we could really live here and will be back. Amazing vacation home
Our family loved both the home and the area. The ocean view from the balcony was spectacular and a great place to spend time together - relaxing, reading, playing cards and barbecuing. Plus, it really is only a minute walk to the beach! Joyce, the owner has ensured everything you need for a comfortable and wonderful vacation is in the unit. It was an oasis from our busy Iives and we highly recommend it.
