Located in Sanibel Island, this charming house for $850 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Aah!!! Poppy's Paradise is a four bedroom/four bath vacation rental home located in the Village of Captiva on Chapin Lane, just 400 feet to the beach, with private beach access and recently completely updated. You are also within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Your two-story elevated vacation home offers a screened porch newly upgraded, and dining area which is accessible from the main level. Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, complete with granite countertops and stainless appliances, 5 flat screen TVs, 4 DVD players, CD player, fax/copy/printer, beach towels, washer/dryer, garage and free wi-fi. The home includes two private masters, with one completely private located on the second floor. The ensuite has a separate walk-in shower and jetted tub. The second master is located on the main level, with walk-in shower, separate his and her vanities, and plenty of storage. Third bedroom features two twin beds, with an adjoining full bath with walk-in shower. Lower level offers, pingpong table, pool table, refrigerator, bar, seating area, flat screen TV, private bedroom with two trundle beds, private bath with walk-in shower. You do have to exit the main home and access the lower level and pool by a back stair way. The open pool area and patio features plenty of open space and privacy. Lounge chairs and new patio furniture offer plenty of seating area for you and quest and a new patio table and chairs. Relax after a long day at the Beach in the private heated pool or the connected hot tub. There is a stainless steel gas grill located just off the pool, to enjoy cooking your meal if you choose to grill outside during your stay. The pool can be isolated from the patio by a portable child safety fence located in the outside pool storage area for security for young children. The great feature of this home is that it is within walking distance of everything you enjoy while you are in Captiva. The home features new furniture and fixtures. A weekly minimum applies. The home will accommodate 10 guest. The home is only available for Saturday to Saturday Stays.

High end and very well-maintained home. Where to begin with how wonderful this house is?? First, the house is so close to the beach - I’d estimate it at between 100-200 yards away and about a 3 minute walk from the house. Wow! We were also a couple of blocks from several restaurants and some of the most well-known spots on Captiva, like the Bubble Room (try their spot Boops! Delicious!). We liked the pizza place as well.
The home is spacious and was very clean. The outside screened-in deck is so nice to have, and the very warm pool and decadent hot tub were very much enjoyed by our crew.
The owners are so very lovely and responsive and have thought of everything! The house is well stocked with all you need in the kitchen, including high-end pots and pans, a zillion kitchen implements and tools, and even Tupperware for guests to use. The garage has several bikes and lots of beach gear, including a wagon our little ones got to ride in.
I can’t say enough about this home. I tried to immediately book the house for the same week next year and it’s already booked - not surprised!
We were a family of adults, teens, kids, and toddlers and this house worked and had enough space for us all.

My family absolutely loved the spacious, gracious, well thought out amenities of this beautiful property. The walk to the beach is easy and the walks to the grocery store and restaurants are quick as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Fabulous beach house for a family gathering
This house was fabulous!!! Exactly as pictured and described. We were an extended family of six adults and three children. We all loved it!!! The pool was so nice as was the patio and cabana room. The screened in porch allowed view of pool and was an excellent early am and evening spot. Easy access to restaurants and stores. Walking distance if fit and like to walk! Beach is truly only a 3 minute walk down a mostly shaded path. The owner provides chairs and umbrellas and a wagon for beach, We had one minor issue with pool and Kevin responded immediately!!! We loved our visit and highly recommend this property.

Second time did not disappoint!!
This was our second stay. The house is fantastic. Perfect for our family of 5 could sleep 4 more on the room in the basement. Owner was amazing to work with! We will be back next year!

Great Beach House
We were very pleased with the house. We loved the open floor plan of the main floor and kitchen for gathering as a family. The proximity to the beach was great with an easy walk to the sand.
The house was clean with ample space and some great things that we didn’t expect. The amount of beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys was a nice surprise. Perhaps it was in the listing but it was also awesome to have four cruise bikes in the garage. The pool was excellent and it was phenomenal to have all the floaters available.
The only minor gripes were : sand in the pool, a very slow ice maker, and mediocre draining in the kitchen sink. All in all though these are minor in comparison to how nice our stay was here.

AhA!!! Poppy’s Paradise delivered on everything in the property listing - a beautiful, spacious and well stocked home which is a few minute walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and game amenities that the house offers and has a fabulous time! Everyone had a great time and we can’t wait to visit again!!

Wonderful villa on a beautiful island
We had a fantastic time at Poppy's Paradise. It is a beautiful villa with lovely pool, comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and everything you could need. There are umbrellas and chairs in the garage which was really useful when we went to the beach which is just a 3 minute walk away.
The location was fantastic, walking distance to bars, restaurants, shops and the Marina. I would definitely recommend it!

Poppy’s paradise is just that..paradise! This house is perfectly set up with anything and everything you need to have a relaxing time at the beach or just out the door to the pool. The gorilla cart, chairs, cooler, sun shade for the beach was spot on. The house had a great at home vibe, beds so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend this house enough for a family/friend vacation spot!

The large living, dining, and kitchen area was the central gathering place, while the bedroom/bathroom areas provided just the right amount of privacy. We had the best time at this house! It was perfect for hosting two families. Everyone has their own space but plenty of areas to gather together. Great location, just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely return.

Location, location, location!
We had a fantastic week staying in Poppy's Paradise with 2 families. Lovely home with a beautiful pool/hot tub and walking distance to everything we needed...beach (only a short path away), restaurants, shops, and ice-cream of course. With 6 kids in the group we wanted everything to be easy and it was. Unless you plan to leave Captiva, you really don't need a car once you arrive to this house. I do recommend stopping at the Publix in Fort Myers on the way in as the island grocery is fairly expensive for essentials...though convenient if you need them. We had a couple of minor issues with the home upon arrival but both Kevin (the owner) and the property management team were extremely responsive and addressed them immediately to resolution. The home was outfitted with many helpful extras including a beach wagon, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas, a large cooler, and bikes. The owner clearly takes pride in this home and it delivered on just what we needed. Between the house and the location it truly is a piece of paradise!

House, owner, set up, everything was perfect! we have stayed in captiva many, many times, and this was our best experience/house to date. Will absolutely look to stay here again when we come back!!

Excellent Property
Great location to the beach (Google maps made it look further!) - a quick walk to the left and you're there! Loved starting our day at the pool and ending it in the hot tub while beaching it in between. Handy wagon for beach supplies. Well stocked kitchen and extra fridge in garage made stocking up for the week easy. More than enough bath and beach towels for all. House is in walking distance of restaurants and shops although jumping on our rented golf cart was more fun! Recommend to all!

Ahh!!! Poppy's Paradise is truly a paradise!
The description and pictures on the vrbo website accurately describe this property! The main floor is set up for sharing time with family and friends, as the kitchen is open to the dining area and 2 seating areas.
My husband and I booked this home for 1 month; I don't think we could have enjoyed a place more! We biked, kayaked, hiked, toured the Ding Darling Preserve and the Shell Museum, etc. I was in the pool almost every day - it was pure heaven! The beach is a mere 400 ft away - gorgeous! A number of fun restaurants are just a short walk away!
