Nestled in Florence, this attractive condo for $237 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Our apartment of 90 sq. meters is located on the ground floor of an ancient building in a quieter street of San Frediano, the heart of Oltrarno. It is a perfect location, a close walk to everything you might wish to see in Florence (15/20 minutes to Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi, the Duomo), but away from all the bustle of tourism across the river. San Frediano is a wonderful and truly authentic neighborhood, a fine mix of authentic and typical restaurants, original artisans and coffee shops, bars, grocery stores. Not to mention the amazing Churches and historical sites normally not listed in the guide books. This area is a true representation of how real people live and work in Florence. This location made all the difference, you’ll love this neighborhood! Built in a part of an ancient convent, today the house is completely restored with terracotta floors and vaulted ceilings. It is ideal for 4 guests or families with children or couples.The place has two bedrooms, one large kitchen/living room, two bathrooms (one with shower). There is a sliding glass door that can be pulled shut separating the beds from the dining area. There is also a double sofa bed available for two extra guest. The apartment is equipped with every comfort, air conditioning, FREE wi-fi, washing machine, TV, microwave, coffee machine. Private parking spot available on site (reservation is needed). Price: 30€ per day.

Pietro, the host, was amazing. We had originally planned to visit Firenze in March 2020, but the Covid Pandemic cancelled that for us. At that time already we realized what a gem of host Pietro was, because we were able to cancel the reservation without issue. When we were ready to come to Florence this year Pietro was great. He was attentive to our needs and offered excellent recommendations for dining and cultural attractions in Oltrarno. He gladly ordered our taxi on the day of our departure and came by to say "goodbye" in person. The apartment was everything we needed and wanted. The facilities were fantastic. The location divine. We will gladly return.

The apartment is spacious, clean and charming and the location is perfect….not far from the Ponte Carraia and Santo Spirito square. I was in Florence for 10 days to study art and enjoy the city. It was a pleasure to come home to Pietro’s apartment. I have come three times to Florence and can say this is the nicest place I have had the pleasure to stay.
Pietro is a courteous and attentive host. He went out of his way to make me feel comfortable. He not only called a 5:00 am cab for me when it was time to leave but, knowing I was concerned about its availability,
also stayed up to make sure it arrived on time.
I will certainly stay here again if I have another opportunity to visit Florence.

Terrific experience at the apartment. It looked exactly like the photos, was quite roomy, and had lots of charming touches, such as books, photographs on the walls, and games. Pietro met us in person and gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants and attractions. He even called a cab for us on the last day. The only minor negative is that the window in the smaller bedroom faces the building lobby, so light shines in whenever someone enters the building. The white curtain does not block the light adequately. Otherwise this was a great stay, in a great neighborhood!

This is a wonderful apartment located in a beautiful and quite area.
Our host, Pietro, was attentive, welcoming and helpful. He spent time with us providing attraction and food recommendations. More than any other host we ever had. He went above and beyond to make sure we found our way around Florence.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our only regret was not having more time to stay.

Pietro's place was everything promised in the listing and photos - and MORE! A modern kitchen and bathrooms nestled in authentic rustic architecture, high ceilings and comfortable beds. The neighbourhood felt friendly and safe, people live here. There are 2 awesome restaurants and homemade gelato right arounf the corner. Easy access to transportation and all the best in Florence. Pietro was a great communicator every step of the way, answering my questions, making us feel welcome, even storing my friends' luggage at his own home as a courtesy. You cannot go wrong staying here!

My cousins and I only stayed on the property for two days, but Pietro went above and beyond to help us get the most out of our short stay. At check-in he drew out local favorites for us to visit and even offered to make us reservations. The property was exactly what was pictured and you simply cannot ask for a better host.

The apartment and Pietro are absolutely amazing.
The apartment is in a great neighborhood with great restaurants nearby. Also, a very enjoyable walk to the heart of Florence (15-20 minutes away).
Our host Pietro was amazing from the day we booked the reservation to the day we left. Not only did Pietro provide us with restaurant and gelato recommendations (gelato was awesome), but he also booked us a cab for our departure that arrived EXACTLY at the time we requested.
I will stay here again and definitely recommend this apartment and Pietro to all my friends and family.
Forgot to mention, the apartment has 3 separate air conditioning units that provided GREAT comfort for our entire family.

We had a wonderful trip to Florence and Pietro was a terrific host! The apartment was beautiful and more than spacious enough for our family of four. Pietro was a terrific host, providing restaurant recommendations and getting us a reservation at a local restaurant called Il Guscio (you must eat there!). The neighborhood has coffee shops and restaurants but is away from the noise of the downtown area while still being close by. We highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful stay. The owner was very welcoming and gave us excellent suggestions right in the neighborhood. We had an incredible dinner at a restaurant he recommended, enjoyed the local market, and were delighted to find amazing gelato just around the corner. Plus, his coffee is some of the best I’ve ever had.

We had an amazing stay in Florence and found our host, Pietro, to be so welcoming and helpful. The location allowed us easy access to all of the sights, but was off the beaten path and gave us a taste of the local scene. The apartment was extremely clean and was perfect for our family of five, that includes three adult children. Pietro made the most wonderful recommendations for local cuisine and graciously made reservations for us at a couple of stellar restaurants. The parking option was very convenient and made for easy travel to nearby vineyards. We look forward to coming back to Florence someday and will not hesitate to stay here again. Excellent!!

Pietro's apartment completely changed our perspective of Florence. This was my third time in Florence and the first two times were all about the amazing collections that make Florence the center of renaissance art. This time, however, we were able to experience the wonderful other parts of Florence and that's largely thanks to Pietro and his apartment in this fabulous neighborhood. The apartment itself is lovely and spacious with everything you could want. I cannot imagine a more perfect location. We walked everywhere. We were convenient both to all of Florence's famous museums and buildings and also to this wonderful quiet area of hidden parks, beautiful views and great shops and restaurants. Pietro was not only so helpful with recommendations and directions, he was totally accommodating to our schedule and plans. We are so happy to have found and stayed at Pietro's place. We were able to see Florence as the beautiful, ancient Tuscan city that it is.

Pietro is a great host. The apartment is gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. My daughter and I were on a mother/daughter trip in Italy. Pietro met us on our arrival and had great suggestions and was there on our arrival. He was also very communicative before we arrived and I felt that I knew him even before we got there. The living area is very cool with a bricked arched ceiling. The rest of the apartment has beautiful wooden beamed ceilings. There are two well furnished bedroom and 1.5 bathrooms. There is A/C and a hairdryer. He has thought of everything. I also noticed

Pietro was an amazing host! He was extremely friendly and communicative and made us feel very welcome during our stay. He gave great recommendations for sites and restaurants nearby which was very appreciated! The house was a bit darker than expected (not much natural light), and the front bedroom was rather loud with noise from the hallway so bring earplugs! The window looks into the building's hallway so the bedroom was flooded with light a few times throughout the night, so an eye mask is probably a good idea too (or darker blackout curtains). Other than that, the house was very clean and all had necessities we needed. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and it it is walkable to city center.

15-30 minute walking distance to most of Florence. Lovely place to stay. All was very clean and charming. Our host went out of his way to be accommodating. He made dinner reservations, taxi reservations and made himself available to help with any questions. Pietro was wonderful.

I don’t even know where to begin…so before we even got to Italy our host was giving us advice on things we should book in advance so not to wait in long lines!
We got to the place in Florence and it was even more beautiful in person!! Our host booked us dinner and recommend the best places! Seriously I would stay here over and over again!! He helped us get a cab to the train station and booked our last night for dinner too!!! Best experience ever!!!

This home is beautiful and perfect for your florence stay. It has the old world charm along with modern features. It's in a quiet neighborhood and a short walk to all the tourist attractions. Pietro was an amazing host and a wealth of knowledge. The apartment had a fantasic hair dryer, cute little outdoor space, spacious, and very comfy beds. We spent most of our days out and about however was nice to come back this amazing home.

What a wonderful stay in Florence. Pietro made sure he was there to meet us when we first arrived. He explained everything about the large and spotless apartment. The home is in the nicest neighborhood. It’s filled with people of all ages. The best food we had in Florence was eaten in the neighborhood and Pietro made the best recommendations for everything from food to gelato. Everything is but a short walk away and it is so quiet at night. Taxis were called for us and reservations were made. It was so helpful because I did not have cell service. Time for coming and going was flexible and we appreciated that. We are dreaming of a return visit and would totally stay here again.

Pietro was a marvelous host very kind and full of good suggestions. We have been to Florence before but wanted to experience the real Florence in the Santo Spirito neighborhood this time. And we did !!! Immersing yourself in an area gives a strong feeling of how communities live. It builds a strong bond between you and them. And we loved every minute of the stay. Apartment was perfect , comfortable and very clean. And walking distance to everything on this side of the river and the more touristy other side of the river. Highly recommend !! Thank you Pietro !!

The apartment was perfect for our mother/daughter trip to Florence. Pietro was a fantastic host. He shared his love for his city and his neighborhood with so many tips for where to eat and what to see. He also arranged for transportation and stored our luggage at his home until we had to leave. Five stars are not enough for his wonderful hospitality!

This comfortable apartment is located, in my opinion , in the best part of Florence. I thoroughly enjoyed my week here amongst the locals. Quiet, comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, in walking distance from the train station and all the main attractions the city has to offer. Pietro is the perfect host. On hand to introduce the area to you, and to answer any questions you may have. I have been to Florence a few times now. This was by far my most enjoyable stay. I definitely will be back soon.
