Friendly welcoming staff, large rooms that were VERY clean. We were travelling around the South Island for 3 weeks as a group of 4 couples and this was one of the best value for money motels we stayed in. We had a problem with 1 of our cars and the staff let us keep 1 room avaliable for a bit longer until the issue was fixed. They were all SO friendly and helpful.

It’s location.
New owners. No ironing board in room, but there was an ironing board cover! The curtains are too thin and the light from outside was so bright. Sleeping was difficult.
