Fantastic location in the heart of Merida.
Comfortable beds
Noisy street outside but that's part of being in the centre. We asked for a room at the rear and stayed 3 nights. That worked fine

The location was close to restaurants and shopping.
The lady, Lily, who worked in the morning was very helpful & friendly. They have free coffee in the lobby, but no creamer.
The girl who checked me in, on nights, spoke no English, and was difficult to understand, as well as confusing. She had a bad attitude. The room was gloomy & dark, everything was concrete, including the shower. The only window was in the bathroom, & very small. The pool was unusable, it was tiny & filthy! And employee told me don't use it, they were out of chlorine! To reach it, you had to climb 3 flights of rickety metal stairs. No lounge chairs for sunbathing either.
