Great experience at Miramar!

We enjoyed two weeks at the condo. The host, maid and groundskeepers were wonderful and very accommodating! Snorkeling right from the condo and the sunset views were super. Hope to come back some time!

A perfect place to watch the sunset

This condo was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and dishes, and when the glass carafe on the coffee pot broke, Matt had a new one there within an hour. We had to get used to the stairs that had no railing on one side; it took a day and we ran up and down like we lived there. The master bed was really comfortable and we left the a/c off to catch the breeze and sound of the ocean. The condo is on the 4th floor. Remember, however, that the first floor is below street level, so it was really only two flights. We are not strong swimmers and the current in front of the building was too strong for us to be comfortable in the water - that was the only fly. Thank you to Matt and the staff for a lovely vacation.

We absolutely loved this property. The property is beautiful, the unit was perfect for our family, and the location is super convenient. In addition, the management was wonderful and very attentive. There were many activities available on the island and we found it quite easy to take the ferry to the mainland for activities there. Our two girls said many times that this was our best vacation ever. We definitely would recommend this rental and we hope to be back. Thanks so much!

My husband and two daughters stayed in condo #402. It was very nice. We rented a car which was perfect because the town is a little far to walk. The town is very safe and has delicious local food. If you want to go diving you need to call Rene at Chili charters. Amazing company!!! We will definitely come back!

I stayed six nights in Miramar 402 the first week of March 2019. I absolutely love the condo and the property. The first thing I noticed was that it’s so quiet and peaceful. I was met by Jose who showed me the condo. After that, I was never intruded upon the whole week. The pool area is gorgeous and being on the top floor gave great sweeping views. The condo is very spacious with a very comfortable king bed with balcony. One of the reasons I rent condos is for the washer and dryer. This stacked unit didn’t disappoint. It worked great. I also loved the modern large smart TV with Netflix and cable. The sweeping balcony on this level is right below the MBR balcony and provides the same great views. This time of year, open the slider and let the breeze in. Although the A/C works great, it was hardly necessary. There is a large ceiling fan to circulate the air. The same goes for the MBR. I met a lot of nice folks during the of all ages. There was none of the hustle and bustle you find at a large resort. Everyone would gather around the pool area and chit chat. It was kind of like family. I also enjoyed jumping into the turquoise blue Caribbean water from the diving board. You can swim and snorkel but just beware there could be currents. I spent a lot of time in town and taxis are readily available out front. The going rate is 75 pesos to anywhere in town. Special thanks to Matt for coordinating my stay.

This condo is the perfect place to relax in Cozumel for a couple or a small family. We stayed for 9 nights in November. The management and building maintenance team are super friendly, responsive and on it and this property is very well taken care of. There is easy parking in front, and flagging a cab for the 75 peso fixed fee trip to town was simple. The location is great, it is not very far north of town, but it is quiet, and on a gorgeous stretch of open ocean. The snorkelling is really fun in front, just watch out for the current. There are some beach clubs, restaurants and fast food within a 20 minute or so walk. The pool is clean and unheated, and the pool area was never overpopulated and often very quiet while we were there, with some good shade options. The water temp in the pool is perfect on a hot day and during calm weather, but can be a bit cold if the wind is blowing. The unit itself is in great condition and looks exactly like the photos. Everything is clean and works. The view is stunning. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed and has a bunch of appliances and I'm told they have updated the pans and cutting boards after we suggested it. The king bed is very comfy and soft by mexican standards. Aircon is all in working order and the unit stays cool until mid afternoon without any aircon. Right before we arrived they upgraded the main TV set, but who needs TV in cozumel?! Clean water & fresh towels are kept stocked up and the maid service every 2 days was excellent and unobtrusive. Cozumel is busier than it used to be and Miramar gives you a quiet place to relax away from the cruise ship crowds, we highly recommend it! Thanks to Matias and his team for a wonderful stay.

Matt had arranged our shuttle, so our names were on big signs outside of the airport. We were quickly dropped off and met immediately by Matt. He gave us an overview of the condo and our vacation started. The view was spectacular. We grabbed a taxi to Mega for essentials. After getting our things put away we were off to the pool. The diving platform was intimidating but after a couple of days I gave it a try several times. The condo is stocked very, very well. Even if you forgot you sun hat or coozie, you will likely find one to borrow. The king size bed was very comfortable which is rare in Cozumel. There is a huge binder that is filled with lots of important information. At the front is a yellow card for "Room Service" it is a service that will deliver anything from food from your favorite restaurant or toothpaste and ice. Great great service. There were 2 tv's, lots of books, and dvd/bluray movies. Plenty of beach towels. I used the washer & dryer several times. Walking into town hasn't changed to much since I had been there. Everyone still assumes you are from a cruise ship. Lol I won't go into any details on where we ate, but it was all good. For a fast breakfast Hotel B is 5 minutes tops .

My husband and I stayed here for 8 nights and it was amazing! It is right on the water with wonderful views. The pool guy was out there every morning cleaning the pool and surrounding area. A big bonus is every other day the cleaning lady comes in and cleans the place really well. Also there is a washer and dryer in the condo which is a big convenience. The best asset of this condo is the view. The sunsets on the water are amazing. Sitting on the balcony and looking at the water is our favorite. There isn’t a beach here but we don’t care we mainly hang out at the pool. You can jump into the ocean off the ledge (which is fun)! Also it’s an awesome location to snorkel. It’s a smaller condo complex so the pool wasn’t ever crowded, which is great! We rented a Jeep from Rentadora Isis (we rent here every time) to drive around town and across the island. This is close to town but kind of a trek (not too awful long and there are bars on the water along the way before you get to the square) and it’s a beautiful walk once you get to the marina! If you are a runner, there were a lot of runners in this ares. This is good location to run South toward the square and most of it is right off the water. We love Cozumel and this is our 2nd time to stay in Miramar. We would definitely stay here again! Matias the Manager, was around all week and he spoke English very well and he was very helpful!

Our family of 4 loved our stay here at this peaceful condo #402. This condo had everything we needed including beach towels and a hair dryer. The AC worked well and the beds were comfortable. The neighborhood on the north end is quiet and relaxing, but just a few minutes away to restaurants and shops. The snorkeling out in front is fantastic! I've snorkeled at several islands, but this was the by far the easiest and lots of colorful fish along the wall as you jump in. We even found a black and yellow speckled eel hanging around near the ladder. My kids enjoyed the pool and the diving platform into the ocean and being a small condo complex, we often had the pool area to ourselves. We rented a car from Fiesta Car Rental for the week and drove all over the island. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The management at Miramar was attentive and quickly responded to emails when we asked for recommendations on dive and fishing trips and car rentals. Thank you Matias and Cozumel Seaside Retreats!

The managers, Isabella and Matias, do a wonderful job here, and are very responsive. We didn’t meet many of the staff, but Jose was soooo helpful and adorable I wanted to put him in my pocket! We liked the unit best when the breeze could blow freely through from east to west. Space-wise it was very comfortable for us and our two college kids with us. The onnnnly suggestion (not a complaint) I would make is, trade the glass coffee table for one of a solid material. We lost count of how many times we “barked” our shins on it! <:(

Miramar 402 was great! Very safe area in North end of the island. Staff very attentive, pool was wonderful, snorkeling on property was good, but current strong- not for the inexperienced swimmer. We had a car so explored the island quite a bit- would recommend Sky Reef on south side for easier snorkeling. Will definitely be back to Miramar and Cozumel. The weather wasn’t on our side this week (a lot of rain- and a power outage) but will try again for sure. Going back to MN with great memories!
