Nestled in Payne Springs, this attractive house for $175 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Enjoy the best sunset view on the lake! Time to slow things down a bit and have a change in scenery? Why not catch the birds as they pass over the water, just as the sun sets and the sky turns from blue to amber, before the stars begin to shine. Come stay at our home - which is thoroughly cleaned after each guests stay. Perfect for a family get away or a group of friends looking for a weekend adventure. This 3 bedroom, 2 bath lakeside retreat is the place to make those memories happen. Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee on the fully furnished covered porch, while watching a flock of Ducks pass by. Later as evening arrives, take in the breathtaking sunset views on the open water. Lots of room for all to gather around the over-sized stone fire pit. Roast marshmallows, make s'mores and reminisce about the days fun filled events. A portable Bluetooth speaker is available for inside or on the covered elevated porch. While inside this cozy retreat, gather in the kitchen while preparing dinner, looking out over the lake. With 3 fully furnished bedrooms, a pullout couch and additional bunk-beds, the home can comfortably sleep 6 -8 adults and/or 4 children. The open concept provides two living rooms that can be enjoyed by all or to provide the adults space to stretch out on the comfortable lounge furniture while the kids take over the game room. Board games and a giant Jenga game are provided for all to play. The home is equipped with 3 TV's with Roku's, so you have access to all of your favorite Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc., web based entertainment. WIFI is provided, allowing you to stay connected, however we do recommend 'unplugging' while at the lake. The retreat is located within Indian Harbor on an over sized lot that offers a landscaped and enclosed side yard. Take advantage of the lake, bring your fishing gear and try your luck. Go swimming or just float in the expansive protected cove with beautiful lake views. There is easy access to 2 private boat ramps, visible from the home, so bring your boat and jet skis to enjoy. The home does have a covered boat house with a lift and a single jet ski lift. Please be sure to let us know if you would like to use them for your water craft. Easy to get to, just an hour’s drive from downtown Dallas. This retreat is conveniently located close to shopping and restaurants in Gun Barrel City or Athens. Explore the largest flea market in the U.S. with a trip to Canton’s First Monday Trade Days (held on the weekend adjacent to the first Monday of each month), only 30-minute away! The house sits right on Cedar Creek reservoir and has stunning sunsets and views. It’s such a relaxing place to stay. Definitely family friendly.

The place was very clean and decorated for the holiday. Host was responsive and even came to our "rescue" quickly when we locked ourselves out. The lake access is beautiful and can be enjoyed from the deck or the dock. We had everything we needed during our stay.

We really enjoyed the patio and lake view and fenced in side yard for our dog. The home was clean and not far from some retail areas as well. We also enjoyed fishing from the dock even though the fish were not biting that day.

Laura was very friendly and helpful. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and had plenty of towels. The kitchen had what we needed to cook a meal, a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. We had a great time using the paddle board and just relaxing on the back porch. We liked that it had a fenced area for the dog.

The view of the lake from the property is amazing! Likewise the location on the lake was perfect. The property is in a cove so the water is not rough like in other parts of the lake. The property was clean and the kitchen is well stocked. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with the lack of transparency in the listing. This is a mobile home in need of updating. Bathroom light fixture is falling from ceiling, poor painting jobs, and poor flooring. A review from over a year ago commented on stained carpet and every bedroom still has worn and stained carpet. Bathrooms are typical mobile home bathrooms, hallway, and bedrooms #2 and #3 are very small, basically just enough room for the bed. The master is more spacious but also the hottest room despite air conditioning set to 70. We would not stay here again but consider if the lake view/access is most important to you.

The view at this property can't be beat. I enjoyed the sunsets here, grilling delicious dinners, and hanging out by the fire pit. There are a few great wineries within ~30 minutes, perfect to check out on the weekends. The owner and the property manager were both great. My dogs enjoyed the backyard and a few excursions to Purtis Creek State Park. The place was perfect for us and I'm so grateful for the experience.

Had a great time at this place. We stayed for Christmas and there was cute decorations to accommodate our stay. Also had a family dinner at the house and there was plenty of dishes to use. I would definitely stay there again.

This property has great sunset views and plenty of space as advertised. The fire pit was a fantastic way to finish the evening and enjoy the sunset. The back porch was covered and offered excellent protection from the wind. The water is pretty low currently, so hoping the rain expected for the area comes through as expected - this was certainly not an issue for us just a call out.

Overall we were happy with the house. I was concerned with a couple of the outlets, which seemed to be unsecured. Also, there was a stain in the bedroom carpet which made me question the cleanliness a bit. The homeowner and the property person were very pleasant and responded quickly when we called. The neighborhood is a little iffy but there seems to be a solid effort to update with newer homes. My dog loved the back fenced yard!

Loved this property! Wonderful large size that sleeps quite a bit of people! Right next to the water and it was complete with a very large deck as well as a grill and a paddle boat! The inside was separated which allows teens to get away from the adults and vis versa. Located in a really nice tree area and a great oat slip for fishing and swimming. The property manager was amazing and very helpful along the way and always available. Couldn't be happier and will book this location many, many times un the future. Such a wonderful stay!

Don’t let the neighborhood deter you. This house was great. Our only complaint was the water level kept us from docking our boat. Of course, that’s not the fault of the owner or property manager. The AC in the master had a bit of trouble keeping up with the heat but again, it’s a scorching hot summer. We were able to launch our boat at Log Cabin. Pretty much everywhere else the water was too low.

The lakeside view is lovely. The house is as advertised, clean, and comfortable. Appliances are in good shape and work well. There's plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We happened to be there during a 100+ degree hot spell, the A/C worked great the whole time. While this house and its neighbors along the water are well-maintained, the rest of the neighborhood is not kept at the same standard.

As advertised and a great location. The back porch was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the lake views. Having the lift available for our boat was a bonus when the winds picked up a few times during our stay. Highly recommend.
