The condo was well furnished with all the necessary appliances, utensils and cutlery. There was three beds for three bodies, and all of the necessary facilities were in working order. It was a great value for the dollars which is important for a long guy's weekend trip.

It had everything we needed and was in a convenient location. Although upon arrival the towels were dirty in the washer so i had to wash them. That was my only issue. The light did flicker in the small bathroom in the shower area. All in all a good stay.

We love Sandpiper and Gulf Shores; this was our 3rd year visiting. We stay for a week each time and love the location. The condo is right on the beach and within walking distance from all of the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately, this year we had an issue with roaches, and it was not as clean as the last time we stayed. We saw 1 roach in our room during our stay (but we were basically only in the room to sleep/shower, and out exploring throughout the day). My parents were 2 doors down (14C), and they killed a roach in their room as well. Despite the roach encounters, when properly cleaned, the condos and the location are beautifully stunning. I hope they address the issue at hand, and I look forward to future reviews that do not mention similar encounters of the same issue.

We had a great time even with the rain which wasn’t your fault. The condo was perfect for us. The condo was clean and very nice. It is in a great location, not right in the middle of all the restaurants and souvenir shops but close enough. It was not my first time to stay at the Sandpiper but always my first choice. It being a smaller condo is one of the things I love about it but I’m sure that is why it’s harder to reserve because I’m sure everyone that stays there feels the same. Love it!

I've been staying at the Sandpiper for over two decades and it seems as time goes by, many children are left unattended. The constant running and lack of parents at the pool is disturbing. Unfortuntly it might take a serious accident for changes to happen. Their were even people at the pool that were not staying at the Sandpiper. The cleanliness of the condo really gets less than a one star...I start cleaning at the door every year before moving my things in. Bender is getting robbed by the service they use and that cost goes up every year. It's a shame. The people at Bender are awesome! I can't say enough about them. Always kind and positive. They have helped me several times. I'm excited for the new owner of the condo I stay in. The best is yet to come.

This is our fourth year spending January and February in this unit. Very comfortable and homey, we especially like having two recliners so we both can relax while reading or watching TV. We love the walk-in showers and the washer-dryer is newer and large capacity. Removing the dated wallpaper in the master bathroom and painting those walls would be a nice update. We really like this unit and have rebooked for next year.

Bender Realty is great do business with they have never failed to address a problem with our many years staying in Gulf Shores, ALI do hate the fact you have to take everything back to condo from the beach now at night makes it hard on older people, we use to leave it over night but it's not Bender it s City of gulf shores and orange beach.

The furniture in the living room and dining room is lovely.I rolled the rug up because it is always dirty and full of sand. The kitchen was lacking a few items, but nothing I couldn't live without.Would like to see the tile fixed.I'm sure it would be hard to find a few pieces to match.The grout is filthy.I'm sure that never gets cleaned. Impossible with the turnaround time. The master bath needs a refresh.The shower, when it's been cleaned,is great.I usually clean it myself.The toilet seat needs to be replaced and the wallpaper near the toilet looks like someone had a serious fecal incident. I used a broom from my sister's unit to clean the dust from the walls.The grout on the floors is disgusting and there isn't any mop to at least do a run through. Again,it needs a refresh.The king size bed has just about had enough.I got permission to turn it over and although it was hard it was better than sleeping in a hole.I was also sent a mattress pad which helped.With a few more people sleeping on it I'm sure it will help. I rolled up the rugs in the master and put them in the closet.Once again dirty and sandy.I know it's difficult to get to everything that needs to be cleaned but if they aren't going to be dusted they should be removed.I noticed the comforters were soiled along with some of the decorative pillows...I asked for the comforters to be cleaned and Bender was very accommodating. The other bathroom was fine.I wish there was a close-up mirror in the master bathroom too....I 'm not getting any younger:) Laundry was fine.There was a vacuum however I usually sweep every evening and there was no broom or dust pan. I borrowed one from the condo beside me that my sister rents.I know I could have asked for Bender to get me one but they had already been so good to me.

This is our third winter in this unit. Love the location and the unit is very comfortable and warm feeling. Only complaint I would have is the cleaning crew could do a better job. We pay a healthy cleaning fee and they could do a more thorough job. I cleaned mold off the shower doors after we arrived. Other than that, we are very satisfied and looking forward to next year!

We have stayed at Sandpiper many times before and have never seen it this bad. I know that everyone is short staffed right now, but I shouldn’t have to go on vacation to clean my condo before we make it our home for a week. There was food on the floor by the garbage, a ton of sand on the floors (enough to cover the bottom of the dust pan), and the beds looked like someone had jumped on them after they were made. We always enjoy our stay there because we make the best of it, but still disappointed that I have to pay a cleaning fee for me to clean it myself. Not sure if we will be back.

I love staying at the Sandpiper condos, the location is great and you have all the amenities you might need. The units are perfect for families, you walk right out onto the beach and have a pool to use. I do wish they would add a walkway from the complex to the beach. I've stayed at this complex multiple times over the last 10 years and unfortunately the condo we were moved into needs a bit of updating, it was outdated looking compared to the other units our family members were staying in (the first one we booked became unavailable). The cold water does not work in the master bathroom, it was turned off underneath the sink and looks like the faucet is broken. The condo did have plenty of dishes and we liked having a regular coffee machine as well as one that uses Keurig cups.

Been to many condos at Sandpiper and we love the atmosphere. This is handsdown the worse condo we've had not only at Sandpiper but in Gulf Shores period. The condo has not been maintained at all. The beds were worn out, the appliances hardly worked, the tile floor throughout were cracked and coming up, the master vanity faucet didn't work and the only way to get it work was to have the water run non-stop. On top of that it was filthy. Food left on the ground, hadn't been dusted, sand on the floors (a good amount), counter tops and table were sticky, and showers hadn't been cleaned (hair and sand in both). We did call Bender and report but maintenence did nothing to fix and we had already cleaned up when we checked in. Totally disgusted and not worth the $2k.
