The convenience and location of this property provides it with high marks however the communication and comfort is lacking.
The host was unresponsive during stay, never checked in or answered any questions. We had an issue with the beach chairs and umbrella when the attendant claimed we weren’t on the list. Contacted the host, no answer, but we did resolve the issue that afternoon.
As others have mentioned, the mattresses are not comfortable and the pillows are all flat. The bedding is outdated and worn.
Having the keys mailed to us was strange even when there was a lock box at the door that wasn’t locked and had 4 keys inside. I explained to the host that the box was opened upon arrival and asked what to do with the keys but again got no answer. We left the keys in the unlocked box upon departure.
We were told that we could use the amenities on the property after check out but are asked to leave the key fob inside the unit that opens the gate to the beach. We asked at the leasing office and were told that we should not be on the property after check out.

Centrally located to amazong restaurants and bars, coffee shops and grocers, breakfast options as well as great lunch and dinners! Short walk to ocean and the chairs and umbrellas provided were invaluable!

We were really impressed with the location of this place! It was in easy walkable distance to lots of great restaurants and more, plus the walk to the beach was nice. Vic was also very responsive leading up to our trip and easing my anxiety about PayPal deposits.
The dryer turns on and functions and but it does not dry the clothes or towels, which was a bit disappointing (and made laundry difficult). Additionally, the master bed was a bit uncomfortable, but it wasn’t too bad.
The only real complaint I had is that the description for “Guest’s Visitors” (#18) in the informational email needs slightly updated. It says, “Visitor parking is on a first come first serve basis, and there is no guarantee of a parking space.” This makes it sound like they can park there if there is a spot, but that would get them towed. They need a parking pass, and the entire Midnight Cove facility only has 40 passes available.
The email should say something like, “Visitor parking is permitted with a pass, but visitor parking passes are extremely limited and can be picked up at the office on a first come first serve basis.”

The location was great.
I didn’t like that it didn’t have WIFI despite the fact that having WIFI is pretty standard these days. I also didn’t appreciate that we had to mail the keys back which cost us around $60. Lastly, the stove barely worked which made it very difficult to stay in and cook to save some money. Other condos I have stayed at within that company at midnight Cove have offered Wi-Fi and other amenities that made the stay more comfortable.
