The porch was very nice, but the furniture was sub standard, The condo could be perfect, however, it has not been updated in about 30 years. Peeling paint, rusted ceiling in bathroom, holes or missing trim. Poorly stocked kitchen. Refrigerator in the living area. And, an awful matress on the old couch. On the up side, I loved being on a lower floor , the view was amazing and the small unit was all I needed. Some TLC would make a huge difference.

But comparing it to our other families we traveled with that were staying at other places felt it was over priced. For 2 to $300 more they had 2 and 3 bedrooms, washer and dryers,3 TVs, nice and updated kitchens, bathrooms etc. So we just basically slept at our place and spent the majority of our time at theirs. Our place was very dated and was just a 1 room place, like a hotel room with 1 bed and a fold out couch. It worked but will make a different choice next year for sure.

We had originally booked a different condo that was closer to the Hangout Festival. There was a problem with the owners of that condo, and we were moved to this one. I was a bit upset because we were staying with another couple, and we were now sharing a studio apartment. There was ZERO privacy. It would be a great condo for just one couple or a small family, though. I also have to say that Bender was very sweet about it, and refunded me some of my money for the inconvenience. I was also scared when I saw the pictures of the place. The pictures DEFINITELY need to be updated. It looks much better in person. It is very very clean, but it needs to be updated. There is no dishwasher, which was a bit of a pain. Also all of the dishes were ceramic and glass, which were not allowed at the pool or anything- I'd recommend bringing some plastic cups and paper plates. The location was AMAZING. Right on the beach. I really enjoyed the patio in the mornings. The pool was lovely, and the beach was perfection. If you are renting this place for Hangout Fest, know that this is quite the walk! We were told it was a mile away but it was actually 1.4 miles, which means that its about a 3 mile walk every day. So be prepared! Overall our stay was much better than expected, but the condo could use some updating and it was a little further than I had hoped for.

It was very outdated, mold on the shower curtain, floors were sticky, the cabinet was broken in the kitchen and my son (1 year old) found the board with nails sticking out of it. However, our condo was underwhelming. The unit doesn't have a dishwasher (not stated ahead of time), washer or dryer. The balcony is slightly larger than what's available in the 2-br units. For the price, I highly recommend upgrading to a 2-br unit. 2-br units are only about $35/night more in peak season. The parking situation is also inconvenient for any visitors to the complex. No additional parking is allowed.

It wasn't noisy and a great spot on the beach. Loved how you could listen to the beach and only few feet away to get on the beach. Everyone was nice and I really enjoyed it. They had everything you really needed it was provided. I brought stuff I didn't even need. It was really fun and nice stay. I really enjoyed my stay and would come back to stay. It was a great location to get in town to. Easy to get around and find places. It was private to a point where it wasn't over crowded. It was a wonderful place to stay. Roomy and comfy bed to sleep in at night. Very nice place to stay I'd reccomend it to anyone if they wanted a nice place to stay in Gulf Shores, Al. Wonderful place.

The three of us (husband, wife and daughter) were able to share quality time together in the open space. The kitchen was surprisingly larger than we anticipated and the Refrigerator was full size, not dormitory. We were quite pleased with the room, the location, the convenience to restaurants, shopping and grocery stores. We would definitely return. Our only complaint would be the size of the parking lot.

Easy access to beach and only 1 mile from main area of Gulf Shores. On the negative side the complex has very limited parking (one car per unit) and the condo it self is older and in need of modern updates but met all our needs. Had a minor issue this unit above us but it was quickly and professionally resolved.
