It was a fun short stay.

The place is very clean, spacious and secured. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. The property is convenient as it is few minutes drive from the supermarket.

If a proper cleaning is done …this property will be one among the nicest one in Rotorua

It was very spacious

1)Bathroom top was having black moulds 2) There were earth worms all over the foyer ! 3) Bathroom was not clean enough ( it was having sticky stuff build up all over the shower handles etc

Quiet location with lots of room.

This is a bit trivial but I found the clothes dryer a little complicated to work out.

Nice home with large space!

Size, lots of space living room, kitchen and bedrooms. Nice to sit out on the deck. Owner was quick to respond to messages.

Luggage racks would be nice, plenty of space for them to keep luggage off the floor. A large drying rack would be useful too.

A lovely place to come home to relax after a long day at work/conference.

Was very happy with the comfortable beds, cleanliness, it was like a home away from home.

This house needs a major cleaning

Modern kitchen with all the pots, pans, cutlery you need. Good washer and dryer. Quiet family neighbourhood.

First impressions mean everything. House number is hidden behind a bush and we didn’t see it until the next day when we searched for it. Laundry hanging on the line (and still there after our 5 night stay). Was this our house? Is someone else staying there? Got the key from the lockbox, inserted key in door, have to yank on door to open it. No dead bolt, just an old fashioned push button knob lock. Once inside: Mustard coloured couch in lounge area very stained. Red sofas visible in property photos old and saggy. Screws sticking out of walls where pictures used to hang. Every wall in the house needs a good washing. I wiped a smear on the water closet wall and it easily came off. I hate to think what it was. First bedroom wall smear also easily wiped off. Why?? Some towels stained. I took a bath mat off the clothesline as the one in the main bathroom, well I didn’t want to step on that coming out of the shower. Mats in front of the 2 toilets! Do they get washed after each guest? Disgusting. The windows need a washing. Bird droppings on the kitchen window are not apppealing. The A/C in the lounge works great but the 4 bedrooms get very hot. And it was an average of 23C when we stayed. Floor fans just move the hot air around. Outside, the lawns need a good cut. The dandelions were in flower. The house mailbox hasn’t been emptied in a while which tells me the owner doesn’t come by the property. I took photos of everything I just mentioned. I had high hopes for this property as the photos look great and the reviews were good. I rarely write negative reviews as I do my homework and don’t like surprises. But this place feels unkempt and gets no recommendation from me. Very disappointed.

Wasn’t a very pleasant stay but we managed as it was only one night

The toilet didn’t look clean. Carpet looked dirty. The lounge chairs didn’t look clean. The area near the bins was untidy. The clothes lines were broken and dangling.

Noisy neighbors

Nice comfy house

Neighborhood very noise . Music was playing for 2 days all thru the night and we didn't manage to get any sleep at all. Totally ruined our holiday experience.

Hi there,I loved the fact that it had all the facilities that we needed,very comfortable and enjoyable to chill ,relax,eat,lounge around and do our own thing. Very spacious Great entertainment system with the TV,board-games for the kids So great to have had a washing-mqchine & a dryer there so we didn't need to go to the laundromat Everything was all in reach. Thank you for having us there We will be back again Until next time! Take care & be well 😉👍🙏🏽

I think maybe 1 little problem was that there were no dish-clothes to wipe the bench-tops but other than that it was still all amazing to stay there 😉👍🙏🏽

I would happily stay again. It was great value for money.

The bus from the airport stopped around the corner and the four square supermarket was a 5 min walk. The house was warm and the beds were comfortable.

Spacious house, all to ourselves, lovely!

We had the whole house to ourselves. It had ample bedrooms, a bathroom and an ensuite. There were games, a washer and dryer plus an outside line. We enjoyed having a meal on the deck outside. It was warm inside even though the nights were a little colder with winter coming on.

Overall, a beautiful, spacious, clean home, quiet area. We would definitely stay again!

Aroha Nui was the right fit for my family of 7 adults. Big kitchen, comfy beds. Loads of seating indoors, and outdoor seating with a view. The little office nook was perfect for my sister in law who brought work with her. My mum and dad were grateful for the wifi. Puzzles/games for all ages. My nephew finished a puzzle that we left completed on the coffee table. Owner was very helpful, and passed on information that was required. Close to shops, close to town. Oh, also, not the smelly part of Rotorua :)

Minor details: TV connection was irratic, only seemed to work well after 9 pm. Remote didn't work properly. Used manual buttons on tv to change channel. No plug for the kitchen sink. Used dishwasher...instructions would be great. Again, minor details.

Good value for money

The house is located in a quite residential neighborhood close to parks and reserves and away from the strong sulfur smell. We liked how spacious the property was, felt safer with the security cameras and locks, loved the fully stocked kitchen provided with the staples for cooking, great board games, comfy beds, two bathrooms and a nice private deck.

Didn't like that the rubbish bin wasnt emptied when we arrived, floors weren't vacuumed very well and the ensuite shower drain had a massive pile of hair stuck inside causing the water to overflow. Some mould on the net curtains, The TV is not a smart internet TV and picture is pixellated. Also the waste bin outside was full to the top

Very good, would stay here again.

Comfy beds. Awesome shower pressure! Nice clean, modern house overall. Lots of room and we were able to park two cars easily too, which was great. A little way out of town, but easy enough to drive in. Good communication from host and easy instructions, would stay here again.

The TV wasn't working too great, had to keep moving the aerial to get a picture and it even then it would just drop out every now and then. Would be nice to have a hand towel rack/hooks in the ensuite bathroom? Also, a hand and a face towel each would have been nice, there was only one of each.

Aroha Nui Rotorua is big, comfortable, clean and well appointed but needs some TLC.

Spacious, quiet, clean and generally well appointed rooms, plenty of heaters for winter and fans galore if visiting in summer. Good supplies like soaps, shampoos, laundry soap, loo paper etc but only 2 dish wash tabs. Quiet cul-de-sac location but a a tad out of the way. If you are looking for the full 'Rotorua' experience including the sulphur 'ambience' then this property misses out on that!

Run down exterior and unkempt grass/outdoor areas. Several aspects need maintenance and I will try and contact the owners on this - nothing major but disappointing all the same in an otherwise good house.
