About this cabin rental

Rock Haven is a beautiful and modern multilevel cabin built in front of a limestone cliff that towers above it, located in a secluded forest valley adjacent to Natural Bridge State Park and near the Red River Gorge. It easily accommodates 10 persons. Come and feel the excitement of being in the middle of the forest, enjoy the beautifully designed wood interior, and relax in this comfortable vacation home, that is supplied with Wifi and a landline phone. If you are interested in staying at Rock Haven, click on "Send a message" or click on "Request to Book." The lovely spaces in Rock Haven include four bedrooms including one on the middle level, one on the lower level with two beds, and the two loft bedrooms (both without doors) , 2 ½ baths, a whirlpool room with a view of the rocky cliff, a fully equipped and roomy kitchen, an inviting spacious living room, a fantastic sun-room to relax in, a front deck surrounded by the tall trees, and a back deck almost within arm’s reach of the cliff. All linens, blankets, and towels, and some basic kitchen items such as spices and napkins are provided so all you need to bring is food, drink and personal items to have the perfect stay. The deep woods and the cliff-side location moderate the summer heat and winter cold and ensure that only the sounds of nature are heard. In addition, the location is close to the area's attractions--the many arches, hiking trails, scenic drives, and a surprising variety of restaurants. Cell phone service is available--best via Verizon, spotty for other providers unless one goes to the top of the hill. There is Wifi, a TV and a DVD player, but no cable service. Feel free to stream or bring your own movies for family entertainment. You can choose not to use the Wifi, and maybe discover, or experience again, how rewarding it is to quietly sit on the deck and to enjoy the sounds of the forest both in early morning and in the evenings. This is a wonderful way to experience nature.

Overall we did love this beautiful cabin and highly enjoyed our stay. We would probably stay there again considering it was so big and cozy. There were a few issues though, the back door was open when we arrived and considering we arrived after dark it was a little of an uneasy feeling being in the woods and a place that we’ve never been before. Not only this but the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, the stove had food on it, and we were only left with one trash bag for a four night stay with 4 kids. We did enjoy the cabin and all of the beautiful places near it that were able to explore.

We spent three terrific days in this lovely cabin, and we already hope to stay there again. The cabin was extremely comfortable and very well appointed. I can’t recommend this property highly enough. It exceeded my expectations.

This is a beautiful cabin right up against a beautiful rock wall in a beautiful location. The cabin was clean, well furnished, and everything functioned perfectly. It has a great fire pit by the driveway and a gas grill. Pretty much a perfect weekend getaway. One note: the driveway down to it is VERY steep, not wide, and a little sketchy. We still did fine in a couple small sedans, but just writing this so no one is surprised or freaked out.

I rented this house for a girls trip for my daughters 16th birthday. My friend and I, and (3) 16 year old girls stayed here. The house is in a beautiful location and there is so much to do in the area. There is plenty of room in the house for sleeping. The girls definitely loved having the loft to sleep in. It is in the mountains so it is a very vertical area. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. There are 5 levels to the house, plus going from parking area up to the house. We had a phone signal with no issues, but don’t count on using the wi-if to watch a movie. If you think you will want to watch something (if the weather doesn’t cooperate) plan on bringing some DVDs with you. I definitely recommend staying here (as long as you don’t have small children because of all the stairs). You will not be disappointed. I plan to be back with my family, as I know my husband and son will love to explore the are also.

We enjoyed our stay. We reached out about an issue when we arrived and it we were contacted back about it. Are there bugs?, yes but it’s what you expect at this time of year. They are all trying to find somewhere to be. I would recommend this property to anyone as it was so quiet and private which is what we wanted. We didn’t want to have neighbors. There are neighbors but none close enough to bother you. It’s spacious with lots of room. Would stay here again for sure.

The cabin itself is cute and the location is great if you want to be secluded. We did take note of some previous reviews and brought extra towels. We did have some issues with some bees/wasps in the upstairs bathroom that stung our child. But Corrie was quick to respond to try and remedy the 70+ bees that sought out warmer air.
