The location of this cute guesthouse is perfect, situated over the road from a bus stop that can take you straight into town, a small high street down the road and a local pub 300yards away. The room was clean, neat and tidy. Comfortable bed and lots of light in the room so you can wake up to daylight. Gracious and helpful hosts. Will definitely stay again when I am back in Bristol.

It was very clean. It was also very quiet which I so needed that night after settling my daughter into Glenside as a first year Uni student. It was a very long and emotional day so to have somewhere that was so quiet to recharge overnight before saying goodbye to her today was just what we needed as a family. Thankyou x
No negatives at all. Only thing I should have checked was whether there was a hairdryer, had I done so I’d have brought my own. Fortunately went to my daughter’s digs and gave my hair a blast!!!
Absolutely not a negative, let’s face it half of blokes are bald so not an issue for them!!! Maybe a thought to provide one, but I should have checked to be fair👍

Our Car broke down on our way to Bristol and Colleen and Terry were so helpful and understanding.
We can’t thank them enough for the way they looked after us. Wonderful

Guest house was beautifully decorated and very clean.
The dining room again was presented. A little croissant is left for you on arrival.
I filtered the search on booking.com for a self catering place to stay and chose Rockleaze as it was advertised under this heading however guests have access only to a shared microwave and a mini fridge which is located in a shared dining room.
You are advised to leave your rubbish and dishes on the dining table for the owners to collect when they are passing.
I appreciate it is summer but my bedroom was cold at night and the duvet was quite thin. Traffic outside of the bedroom at the front of the house was pretty noisy but other rooms may be quieter.
The owners park their large car on the drive which sadly makes it very difficult to park your car. I was told to park my car around the back on a main road! Again I specifically selected a guest home with free parking.
I sadly shan’t be stopping here again.
