The hotel itself is lovely. My wife and I booked this for our wedding anniversary and tied it into some business too, the location was ideal for visiting Bath. Bed was so comfortable, woke feeling refreshed, which is rare for me. room was spacious, clean and tidy, and the en suite was nice and clean too, although not having a shower head that is wandering was a drawback. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and really tasty along with a very good selection.
Now the not so good parts.... parking available on site as per the description, £5 per night for parking, charge to use the pool facilities £15 each, OUCH! no mention of charges when booking! What's worse is that the pool is pretty cold, and numerous other guests were commenting about the pool temp too. In the end we just used the Jacuzzi for 20mins or so and left each day. The room cards also have a habit of dying, I had to get my card redone 1st morning, then wife's card in the evening!

We had a lovely stay at Aztec Hotel & Spa. It was a really nice touch to receive a glass of Prosecco during check-in!
The location is very convenient for those travelling by car, with a spacious parking area. We had a room with a terrace and a stunning view over the internal garden. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything as described.
A special advantage was the SPA area, with a good-sized swimming pool and saunas. We didn’t have much time to use the facilities, but really enjoyed them when we popped in.
Overall, we had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend this hotel as a nice place to stay while exploring Bristol.
A bit outdated furniture... but that’s just personal taste.

I would like to thank yourself and your staff for a wonderful one nighter at the Aztec. I was in 143, of which was immaculate after a quick turn around of guests yesterday.
I left early this morning, so o never really got the chance to thank all those involved for the hospitality I received.
Could you pass on my thanks to all, from the house keeping through to the bar staff, and of course not forgetting the back of house as the steak was outstanding! The Guinness is well kept, so hats off to your cellar person. The Spa staff are so helpful, so the thanks extends to those fab ladies!
Will I be back, most definitely.

Nice room. Comfy bed. All staff were lovely and friendly.
We weren’t told we needed to ask for a room clean when we checked in. We didn’t see the small notice in the room until after 10pm so we asked in the morning. We were told they would try but room didn’t get cleaned so we had no toilet roll, no clean cups etc.
also the use of the spa used to be included so disappointed either that too.
