Nestled in Collingwood, this charming house for $311 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Completely renovated century home nestled amongst beautiful gardens, a spectacular inground, heated pool and picturesque views of Osler Bluff & The Blue Mountains. Come discover the warmth & authentic charm of this exquisite century home, impeccable decor and large bright windows. Comes fully equipped with everything you need to make your vacation a comfortable and enjoyable one. This open concept home sleeps four and features cathedral ceilings, fully equipped kitchen, sunken living room, 1 full bathroom and 2 half bathrooms, porcelain & hardwood floors, propane furnace, air conditioning, satellite HDTV and WIFI. A beautiful covered porch uniquely designed on the 2nd floor is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee and evening sunsets. Guests also have exclusive access to the private heated inground pool, featuring a cabana with wet bar and Satellite HDTV - ideal for watching afternoon baseball games, or late evening movies. The cabana is equipped with a fridge, stove, & cooking utensils - perfect for cooking on the outdoor BBQ. The pool area features outdoor lighting providing the perfect balance of illumination & ambience in the evening. There is also a changeroom/bathroom conveniently located beside the cabana. Guests can also enjoy a private trail that winds through forests, meadows and ponds. The trail is located on the property and can be used for hiking, snowshoeing or cross country skiing. Difficulty level: Easy Please note: Extra day guests, parties and events are not allowed. We are located less than 10 minutes to downtown Collingwood, 15 minutes to The Blue Mountains & Interwest, 15 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches of Wasaga Beach, Wasaga Casino and just 10 minutes to the Scandinavae Spa! We are close to many winter activities including downhill & cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobile trails, and the popular Nordic Centre at the Scenic Caves! Guests are asked to bring their own linen and towels. Check in time is between 4:00 - 9:00pm and check out time is 11am. My husband and I very much enjoyed the house, pool and countryside. The owners planned and have taken great care in providing this "home away from home" experience. We really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to details that we experienced. We hope to perhaps return next year if possible.

Perfect location for a weekend getaway
Beautiful property in close proximity to Collingwood, Blue Mountain and Wasaga. Ideally situated, clean and well-appointed. Host responded to inquiries promptly and check-in/out was easy. Having to bring so many sheets and towels was a minor inconvenience as it took up a lot of space in the car, but it’s understandable during the COVID climate. The pool area and upper deck are well-kept and make for an enjoyable outdoor oasis. The upper loft bedroom lacks privacy and as it’s an open space the slightest noise from the kitchen/living area below carries. If you plan on using the kitchen, make sure to bring food essentials such as salt, pepper, olive oil etc. All the utensils, kitchen linens, dishes and cookware you might need are provided. Overall, a relaxing stay at a great property.

We also had an unfortunate occurrence with John the owner that left us feeling very ill at ease. On our first evening we took a walk on the path behind the house to enjoy the setting sun amongst the ponds, trees and rolling hills. There was no sign or instructions saying we had to stay within the fenced pool area. There is a cabin at the back of the property which we could not see until we came upon a sign that said "Cabin Users only." We were very respectful of their privacy and did not continue down the path. John was waiting for us - hand on hip when we returned and without even an introduction or hello, barked "which one of you is Trudy?' When I indicated I was, he said "Can you not read the sign?" We assured him we had seen the sign and that we did not infringe on the cabin users privacy. We were obviously being watched....either by John personally or by way of surveillance cameras. From then on we felt very ill at ease not knowing if/when we were being watched. John was confrontational and very rude. I have stayed at VRBO rentals around the world and have never been treated in such a rude and demeaning manner. We were not welcomed, only told where the key was and never once was there a message to see if all was well. When I messaged him to say thanks and that we had left he only replied "thanks" and "your welcome."
Yes the house and property are beautiful, but the nasty way we were treated did not make it enjoyable or worth the money.

Peaceful little oasis
My son and I had a wonderful relaxing getaway. The cottage is just lovely; clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool, patio and cabana area were great. John was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. Overall, a really pleasant experience!

This property was the perfect spot for a relaxing family weekend away. The property was beautiful and extremely clean and well kept. The owner was very prompt and helpful in answering any questions we had. We can’t say enough good things about our stay! It was exactly what we needed!
