Townhome condo In heart of Destin -Short 3 minute (200 yard) walk to private beach. 1 minute walk to pool. -300 ft private, pristine white sand beach -Umbrella/2-chair set-up on beach included (March 1-Oct 31 weather permitting). -Individually owned - deal directly with Patrick McCaghren, the owner -Pool heated February 1 thru spring break (mid-April) -14 acre private family oriented resort, Southbay by the Gulf -Located in gated, beach-side section of resort, south of private lake -Close to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping, fishing out of Destin Harbor, numerous golf courses -Condo (#79) is a short 3 min, 200 yard walk to the beach. (There is not a beach view. Zoom in on google satellite view below for exact location of #79 on property.) -3 minute walk to our private beach thru the property ... no crossing of streets to get there Very peaceful and quiet - no Hwy 98 road noise -Hi speed WIFI -Two story townhome - drive up to front door - no high-rise elevator hassle! -Living/dining/kitchen/half bath/laundry/patio on main level -Large brick patio with charcoal grill and private back view -Front and rear hoses for sand rinsing -Living room with 57" ROKU streaming TV with soundbar -Queen-size sleeper sofa -Fully equipped Kitchen with refrigerator/icemaker. Electric smooth-top range, Bosch dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender, standard drip coffee maker, Keurig coffee maker, French press, coffee grinder, "Whirley Top" popcorn maker, griddle -Master bedroom (queen size bed - with private bath on upper level -2nd bedroom (queen size bed - with shared bath on upper level -3rd bedroom (twin beds - with shared bath on upper level) -ROKU streaming TVs in all bedrooms -Owner's personal vacation home -1,289 sf -Five acre fresh-water lake on property (Stocked with bass and brim - catch and release fishing) -Condo (#79) located between lake and beach -Short walk to the private beach, pool and tennis courts -Setup of one umbrella and two chairs included. (Additional beach chairs/umbrellas available for rent.) -Pool is typically heated the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas. Also heated from February 1 thru Spring Break, around Mid-April. HOUSE RULES Everyone in your party should be over 25 or be accompanied by a parent or guardian over 25. This is a family oriented resort not appropriate for spring breakers. -No pets, no smoking. We stayed with our three children (3, 5, and 7) and had an amazing time. It was a very quick and safe walk to the beach. We loved the large table in the dinning room. We played many games of Uno.

This condo was PERFECT! My family and I booked with Patrick for a quick visit. His communication was precise, and easy. I felt like I was chatting with a friend I'd known for years. Upon check in, the pace was comfortable, super cute and clean. Plenty of amenities were provided. The beach was everything. Walking distance from the condo. My kids loved the pool too. Such a kid friendly/family area. Loads to do around the area as well. I will definitely save this as one of my favorite spots, and book again in the future.

We came down for family wedding and this beautiful condo was located close to the venue! Also just steps to the awesome beach! Close to restaurants and shopping! Three bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely living room and dining room! Kitchen was nice and everything was very clean! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great! The location was perfect, close to so many good restaurants and stores, and the beach is so close! The chair and umbrella rental was such a nice bonus and made it so much more enjoyable! We can’t wait to come back!

We came in after a almost 8 hour drive we get there we always check our place before bringing in our things for bed bugs etc we walk-in my mother (69 year old woman) walks into the kitchen as we 3 other adults proceed to the living room and bedroom areas to check beds and couches my mother yells omg they got roaches and we all meet in the kitchen finding live roaches babies abd roach eggs in the drawers with utensils and under the microwave and toaster on the sinks and walls in the trash we call the owners number who had just text us instructions and no response we call the property manager and the house keeper no response after waiting to see if they have another unit with a 5 year old autistic child tired and hungry can’t bring our food in and can’t bring in our things all of us exhausted I call the owner 3 more times once the phone answered I heard him talking and he hung up on me! I then called Vrbo the owner Patrick was contacted by them and he gets on the phone with me finally to say I’m so sorry I don’t have anything else available I’ll refund you we ask will it go right back on our card he says no it will take a couple days we said that’s 1500 bucks we don’t have the money to go get another place now that was our vacation savings he acted surprised almost degrading in a giggle and then says we’ll that all I can do I said can you come spray there’s nothing we can do other then turn around and go back home we can’t drive 14 to 15 hours with the crew we had autistic and

We will be back!! The beds was super comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed,the condo was very clean,plenty of towels and wash clothes. Loved how 2 of the bedrooms up stairs had a bathroom in them,plus the half bath down stairs. The property manager was very easy to deal with and got back to us right away. Not to mention the beach is breathtaking. Came with an umbrella and 2 beach chairs which is a plus being on the beach. You definitely won't be disappointed. We will be back next year for our Anniversary.

A simple map of the property would have been helpful for quickly finding the pool, tennis courts, and bridge to the beach. We travel more often than most folks so we know how to assess a property. This place is exactly what is needed for a stay in Destin. The condominium is set back off the busy road. It has perfect proximity to the pool and the beach. I rented a bicycle for the week and was able to cross the condo complex bridge to get out to the main sidewalk. Convenient store two minutes away on the corner. A few restaurants and major supermarket/liquor store across the main road. The area around Destin is busy and spread out, but this rental property is centrally located and very affordable. I couldn’t find any faults with it.

This condo was cute, clean, and litetally across the parking lot from the beach. It was great to be able to cook and wash clothes. Took our mom for her birthday and we all had a blast. Patrick is very nice and we would totally rent this condo again.
