Situated in Tybee Island, this attractive house for $276 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Situated on a quiet residential street just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping, with all the feel of a lay-back beach house. There is a screened porch along the front and a great deck complete with palm trees in back. Many of the original details are still there, bead board walls, pine floors, even a claw foot tub. The kitchen is updated and very easy to work in. There are two bedrooms, one with a king and a twin and one with a queen. The fenced in backyard makes it an easy house for children or pets. There is off street parking and lots of room for bicycles and beach toys With the ocean only a short walk away, its a great home to bring your beach toys, kayaks, fishing gear or just relax with a good book. Tybee Island offers many options for great beach fun. The Tybee Marine Center is an easy walk down the beach, go a little farther and you can be at the Historic Tybee Lighthouse and the Ft. Screvens Museum. The Tybee post Theatre is a good option for an evening of movies or live performances. The library and YMCA as well as the picnic park are just a short walk away. During the summer season you can go for a beach walk, check out the dolphins or sea turtles, go fishing off the big Atlantic pier or move around the corner to the back river pier. Kayaks, bicycles, golf carts and surf boards are all available for rent or bring your own. Enjoy Yoga on the beach or maybe set up and paint the wonderful scenes. This charming house was perfect for our family vacation. It is beautiful and very well equipped. The two full bathrooms were very practical. Location is fabulous. It was great to be a 2 minutes walk to the grocery store and 5 minutes from the beach. Bonnie was helpful and welcoming. I really hope to go there again!

Awesome stay in a nice cozy beach house. Location is fantastic as you are close to enough to everything in the area but also not right near the pier with the busy beaches. Beach walk was 5-10 minutes and easy. Beach was lovely and not crowded. House has a porch and deck worth spending all day on. Bonnie the owner is excellent and communicative, very gracious host. Book it and enjoy!

Staying here was just phenomenal! The area, location and uniqueness of this cottage was adorable and grand! It has many things other cottages don't have with a charm that is it own adding character! So relaxing! I also love that she lady dog crates out and the big yard for them. Can't get much better than this historical raised cute place!

This was a quintessential beach cottage experience for my husband, myself and our little dog. Loved the ambience and the space. Did I mention it is close to everything and the cottage is well supplied with everything one needs for a beach vacation? It was hard for us to leave! Until next time!

Loved it! Everything was as expected from the pictures and description. We enjoyed how close the grocery store and restaurants were located to the home the home was pet friendly and we enjoyed having a fenced in backyard and lovely little neighborhood to walk our dog in. Bonnie was fantastic at giving us advice on location of stores and restaurants and worked with us having our pet stay as well. Would love to come back stay a little longer it was a great weekend

Bonnie’s house was just perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the walkability of the neighborhood and the house. We were surprised to learn that the Tybee St. Patrick’s day parade was scheduled when we were there and we were only one block away to enjoy it! Our pups loved the yard to run about in, and we loved spending time on the back deck or the screened in porch depending on our mood (or the time of day). Bonnie and her husband were extremely responsive with any questions or concerns. We are already looking forward to planning our return!

We fell in love with Tybee Island and the back river neighborhood. This property is so much more than just a beach house. Immaculately clean, it is an artistic immersion experience. It is the quintessential historic Tybee beach house complimented with modern conveniences. From the moment you walk through her front screen porch door this classic cottage embraces you in a welcoming 4-walled hug. You will immediately feel at home. Our beagle loved the fenced back yard and the wonderful back deck. We can't wait for our next visit. Would give 6 stars if possible.

Bonnie and H were responsive and helpful. The house was as pictured except that the second bath is outside and downstairs so not convenient in cooler months. Location of house was great, close to beach and supermarket

My sister and I stayed for a week in January. The cottage is like a home away from home. Very typical Tybee with the large porch areas, and beaded board walls. Appliances all in new shape and living areas very comfortable. Good location near the market and walking around is lovely. Bonnie is a good communicator and easy to work with.

We just love this house so much. So cozy. So beautiful. The kitchen is excellent and we love the front porch so much we have remodeled our porch at home to remind us of this Tybee treasure. Bonnie is so gracious and kind.

Our family of 5 loved every minute of our stay here! Bonnie was wonderful and made communication and check-in so easy. There was plenty of space for our family and the beach toys, boogie boards, chairs, towels and beach wagon were so appreciated! The location is unbeatable- central to everything and just a short walk away from the beach. We enjoyed the screened porch and back deck and found the place to be very clean and comfortable in every way. The decor is so cute - shabby chic beach house perfection! Looking forward to our next stay!

It was a beautiful home to stay! We walked to the beach every day, the beach was walking distance and easy access. The beach was beautiful! The neighborhood was very quiet. The front and back porches were nice to sit and have coffee. The IGA grocery store was cute, the people were friendly. Overall the house was homey and just a nice place to hang out. They provided games and puzzles. We put together 2 puzzles while we were there. This home owner made it so easy to contact them. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rent out your home, it was wonderful!!!!!!

I love this cottage. Comfy and laid back. Everything you need is here. 2nd time staying here and planning a 3rd time in May. Great front and back porch, fenced yard, quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the grocery store. Because it is pet friendly, and because it stays rented for much of the season, the house could use a good, deep cleaning this winter, and a replacement of the cookware. Thanks to Bonnie for being such a great host!!!
