It was cosy, clean, we liked the ocean view for the breakfast and the pico view from the other side. The aircon in the room was really appreciable, we didn’t use the one in the living room. All was perfect, it was provided with all the commodities what we needed. We highly recommend this house for staying close to the Madalena port also if you are a diver :)

Absolutely loved the setting, romantic cottage, tranquil atmosphere with the most incredible sunsets. We had no car or bike so walking to the supermarket in town took half an hour.
Host was nice and kept in touch if we needed anything. Airco in living room and bedroom which was really nice
Place is a bit outdated. Downside for us was that there was no real comfortable place to sit outside. The backyard is lovely but could do with a nice comfy sitting area. Bed wasnt comfortabele either and the shower small and gives or hit or cold water most of the time

The view was absolutely amazing. When the sky was clear you can see pico, Faial and at night the stars! You have your own little house.
To our surprise the first day and a half we didn’t have warm water. Luckily it did get fixed. Half the sockets weren’t working due to a short circuiting. The washer didn’t work at first either but got fixed. Once fixed, the washer dryer left our clothes smelly. The upstairs was way too small for our two kids which are tall adults. Wouldn’t recommend to come with 4 adults. The matras in the bedroom was very uncomfortable. No place to hang clothes which left the living room filled with with suitcases and clothes. Overall the price/value we paid does not compare with our stays at other places in the azores.
