MAIN BEDROOM - With views overlooking the lake, the queen ensemble is freshly prepared with linen; and towels are provided for the bathroom.
SECOND BEDROOM - Also comprising a Queen size ensemle and ready made for your arrival. Accommodating 2 children to share or ideal for a second couple.
LOUNGE / DINING - Enjoy views of the lake and sunsets from the lounge/dining which includes HD TV, Wi-Fi, Sound System, CD/ Radio, DVD/Blu-ray as well as a Record Player to remind you of the days of yesteryear.
KITCHEN - The kitchen is fully equipped with a modern oven & microwave. A Weber BBQ, Weber Q and Weber Kettle are also available for use. Tea, Sugar, Instant, Plunger and Nespresso Coffee Machine provided.
DECK - The Cottage has a spacious deck with an outdoor setting and additional deck chairs which enhances the enjoyment of waterfront dining or simply to relax and watch the boats sail by. A pergola has been added to the side of the Cottage for all weather enjoyment and outdoor cooking.
SUNSET COTTAGE has Remote Control Air Conditioning & Heating for year round comfort.
Relax on the deck, sip a glass of wine, enjoy the sunset and waterfront location - unwind!
Close to Goolwa, Milang, Langhorne Creek, and Currency Creek. Overlooking Views Towards Hindmarsh Island and Goolwa; Located on the Waters Edge of Lake Alexandrina & the Goolwa Channel.
Only one hour from Adelaide; 20 mins to Goolwa; 15 mins to Currency Creek; 20 mins to Strathalbyn; 15 mins to Langhorne Creek; 5 mins to Milang.
Boat Ramp Nearby but kayaks, canoes and small boats can be launched direct from the property.

Sunset Cottage lived up to its name! The sunset on the third night was spectacular! The next morning was full of mist and fog overlooking a still lake. This place is all about retreat and quietness and serenity; away from the hustle and bustle of general life. An experience of yesteryear…

Beautiful location, so peaceful and great to disconnect. Good communication from host. The windows and reeds could be cleared for better views but overall a great spot. Will definitely come back

The location was great. The cottage was tidy. Unfortunately the dust was overwhelming.. Opening the windows did not help, due to the curtains were holding alot of the dust. I had alot of breathing and sinus issues due to the dust. The deck had so many spiderwebs. Going by the guestbook. The last people stayed in the first week of jan 2025. I thi k that was the last time it was cleaned. Not impressed with the dusty conditions.Whole place could use and update and a paint.
