About this house rental
Situated in East Providence, this attractive house for $532 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Newly renovated three bedroom is minimalistic and cozy. Super functional mudroom stores all your shoes, bags, and equipment leads into hallway where full laundry and and half bath is located. Living room has water views, with large flat screen television, two sofas, and two recliners. All furniture is new. There is a playroom with crafts and toys for guests with kids. There is an office nook in the hallway on the way to the kitchen. The kitchen is lined with several windows that overlook the expansive backyard and river, along with the ever-present marine life and ever-changing beach with tide. The kitchen has an adjacent pantry, which stores all the appliances as well, so that the kitchen can easily remain clean and tidy. All appliances are new. The dining room boasts a 120 degree view of the river and surrounding coastal homes, and can be set for up to 12. Upstairs, the master bedroom, with king bed, enjoys an 180 degree waterview. All blinds upstairs are darkening, each room has a ceiling fan, and mattresses are new. The master has ensuite bathroom with bathtub and shower. The other two bedrooms share the bathroom down the hall. Each bedroom has water views, and has a full bed along with a twin trundle. There is central air, and there plants throughout. Outside, there is a two-door garage, with bicycles to borrow, and the bike path just 1/2 mile away. There is driveway and street-side parking. Along the side of the yard is public access to the beach where guests can get to the beach, along with the public, who take their dogs on leash down to the beach. In the summer, there is a pretty steady of stream of people who use the public access beach path. When you're sitting in the dining room, the stairs down that path are about twenty feet away, but blinds can be closed and neighbors have been respectful of our privacy. The back yard is giant and fenced in, with one opening to the beach area. There is a trampoline for guests with kids along with a swing. There is a firepit and some outdoors seating. We have wifi, netflix and amazon for programs and movies (no cable), and sonos to enjoy music throughout the downstairs. The river is not swimmable, but neighbors have said you can swiim at the beach on the other side of the neighborhood. There is a stop and shop within a few minute drive, and a few other shops nearby, but you'll find a plethora of upscale restaurants, coffee shops and shopping options, in Providence, less then 15 minutes away. There is one nice little coffee shop, Borealis, just five minutes away. So the house and view are divine. The beach is lovely for morning and sunset walks. The neighborhood is pleasant for biking and walking. There is a local beach to swim. A bikepath, and the adjacent town, Barrington, also offers nice restaurants and shopping. Grocery and restaurant delivery is available from whole foods, and countless other stores and restaurants. Riverside itself has a lot of potential, but does not yet boast lively, interesting shopping and dining. But Providence is a short drive away, along the waterway. Renowned carousel a five minute walk from house along with park and trails.

My wife and I rented this house for two reasons: it was close to Providence where my son and granddaughter live, and it was on the water. The photos of the house and views looked terrific but as experienced vacation home renters we knew that you never know until you get there. From the moment we walked through the door, everything exceeded our expectations .
The house has a large living room with cozy, comfortable couches and chairs. The kitchen is spacious, wonderfully designed and has all the gizmos to make a cook happy,
The dining room is an enclosed porch room with large windows looking out over a small beach and and estuary that leads into the Providence river. It faces west into terrific sunsets, The bedrooms are large and very comfortable. Everything is new and modern. Yet it has an easy, lived in feel.
Riverside is a sweet, quiet little town. Even though it’s 15 minutes from Providence it has very little traffic.
Supermarkets and convenience stores are minutes away and there’s a terrific farm stand 20 minutes away. It’s close to Barrington, Warren and Bristol all with wonderful small beaches and great seafood.
Jen is the best host I’ve come across. She makes sure the house is in perfect shape, gets back to you immediately when you have questions or concerns and has put together a terrific house handbook. I can go on but you get the idea. Needless to say, we’ll be back

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property. The house was immaculate and well stocked. We appreciated the comfortable beds, comfortable seating for tv watching, and the breathtaking views from almost every room. There is a bike path nearby for walking or riding and walks at sunset on the beach we’re a high light.
Jennifer went out of her way to accommodate our needs and was lovely to deal with.

Foot steps to the sand.
Our family enjoyed a week full of relaxation, family bonding, walks on the sand, fishing and playing in the backyard. The home was spacious enough for the 6 of us. Will keep this beautiful location in mind for the future :)

A week well spent
Our family very much enjoyed our stay. The water views from the kitchen and dining space were so beautiful. The beach access was super close and easily accessible. My young children loved playing in the low tide river. There was endless amounts of things to collect and find on the beach. The only negative of the beach would be the amount it broken glass. We spent a lot of time walking and picking up anything that looked remotely sharp. The trampoline and surf swing were a huge hit with the kids.

Beautiful Property
We had a wonderful stay at Jen’s property! The house is beautiful, very clean, and has INCREDIBLE views! My children LOVED the playroom and we loved the beach and neighborhood. I would highly recommend the property, Jen was also very responsive and helpful. Be sure to pack beach shoes!

Beautiful home and gorgeous views!
Beautiful home with a GORGEOUS view!!!!! From all the bedrooms, the dining room and the kitchen! And actually even from the living room through to the dining room!!! Sunsets were amazing! Was very clean and extremely spacious. And really equipped with anything that you could need. Which is so gracious of the owners. Quiet. Lots of different birds in the backyard. And bunnies! Easy walk down the path to walk to the beach at low tide. Private back yard. Jen was very nice! Definitely recommend!

There's a great park (for kids on scooters or bikes) at the end of the street, and just a bit further is a long bike path. Barrington beach was just 10 minutes away, and there are tiny cute ice cream stands and hipster taco places and cafes nearby. It was a dream family vacation. Communication with the owner was also fantastic, as was the informative welcome packet -- and the house was appointed perfectly: it had everything we needed, from nice shampoo to paper products to lovely cooking staples (Maldon salt; maple syrup) -- but it also was so clean, well organized, and had plenty of open empty shelves for our things. A dream property for a family vacation.

Great Stay
Loved our stay. Lovely home and a to die for view/situation on the bay. The owner was super responsive and this home is a fantastic venue for a fantastic Rhode Island visit. The foody scene and history of downtown providence is only 20 minutes, and the picturesque towns of Barrington and Warren, are also 20 minutes. Loved it!

Great place, great location
Beautiful home with gorgeous views and access to the Providence river. Home is well appointed and comfortable. Clean, bright and lovely. The backyard provided endless entertainment watching bunnies, birds and marmots. The walk down to the beach/river was wonderful and a perfect spot for sunsets! Highly recommended!

Exceeded Expectation
I work on a show for Travel Channel in which we would be filming nearby and needed a house that would make us feel home away from home. Jennifer did an AMAZING job at making sure we felt just that. Everything we need accommodated for our stay she made sure we got. She made sure she was available for anything we needed. Would absolutely recommend anyone who is looking for a nice get away in RI to stay here.

Best-ever vacation home!
The home was perfect for our family vacation. Fantastic water views, family neighborhood, many activities close by. The owners are very accommodating and pleasant. The house is immaculately clean; the decor is fabulous. This will be our home away from home whenever we visit Rhode Island in the future!
