Really great features of this place. Comfortable beds, large open kitchen (with all the tools to cook and serve) which extends to the living room. Floor to ceiling window walls which allows you to see the pool, hot tub, and tiki hut. Our dog enjoyed running in the yard by the pool and took a dip. Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Our family had a great time and memories were made. Suggestion: Would have liked to know the deck was under repair before we arrived.

Tom's property is even better than in the photos. He communicated with us well and was so helpful when a friend left an item behind. The house is even more spacious and comfortable than photos give it credit for. The speakers, pool, hot tub and grill were all just what we were looking for! Thank you, Tom, we will be booking again!

Tom was extremely responsive and even answered all my questions leading up to the trip. Check in was a breeze. He lives on the property so was very flexible on time. Honestly was a little worried it would be awkward with him so close but it was super helpful for when we had questions on anything and it wasn’t weird at all. The house has everything you could possibly need! Pool, jacuzzi, firepit are all amazing for hanging out. The house is really close to restaurants and grocery stores. Beds were extremely comfortable. The beach isn’t far - about 0.7 miles! 10/10 would stay here again!!

So close to the beach for a walk or coffee. Lovely house, well maintained. They have thought of everything you will need. The pool is stunning and the firepit was a great bonus at night. We were able to get an early checkin and the owners offered a late checkout without is even having to ask. I would definitely go back.

Perfect place for us and our three adult children. Pool, jacuzzi, and pool area where we could be outside eating or sitting by the firepit were a real hit!

This property is perfect and as described but photos wont do justice. Tom was a great host and very responsive. We loved the huge backyard with heated pool and jacuzzi. Location is minutes away from PB, shops etc..Kitchen is well stocked with everything necessary and extra beds, linens were helpful...overall very enjoyable and memorable stay. Would love to come back....

This home had all the amenities you need! The layout of the house is nice for some privacy with 2 rooms on each side of foyer. The kitchen is stocked with the basic herbs and oils so you don't have to get every little thing to cook.
The pool and jacuzzi are amazing as well as the grill and bar area.
My only complaint would be the owner lives on property only separated by a small fence. You must be inside by 10 pm and not run the jacuzzi. I understand you have to have respect for the neighbors who are very close by but its also a vacation. We are an older couple with adult kids who are pretty tame but it still was a little uncomfortable.

So much fun at this house for our 3-generation group. Kids loved the pool and spa. Kitchen is awesome, well stocked with loads of pots, pans, knives, and spices. Beds are so comfortable. Don’t forget to pack your eye mask for the master bedroom with two large skylights!

The property is in a fantastic location--easy drive to Sea world, the Zoo, the Safari Park, etc. Grocery stores within miniutes. And Tom is a great host. But the jewel is the pool. It is dliciously warm and the hot tub is fantastic. Parents and grandparents can sit in the hot tub while supervising youngsters in the pool. We had a fantastic holiday. Thank you Tom.

We had an amazing time at this house. The owner was super accommodating and helpful. We went to Disneyland the first part of the week and this was a great place to relax and sit by the pool to wind down. Super close to great beaches and a quick Uber to the zoo. The heated pool and hot tub was amazing, especially during a winter travel time. The living area was amazing with it opening out to the outdoor space.

My family and I had the best time at this home. The tiki hut with the grill and bar was so much fun. We loved the pool and hottub as well and used them both every day. The grounds are gorgeous and the home had everything we needed.

Our extended family which has recently welcomed into the world two babies had one of our best vacations ever this past ten days. Our group of six adults and two infants had four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The property was exactly what we needed. Large kitchen, outdoor pool and hot tub, outdoor grilling and plenty of seating inside and outside. The host was super friendly and helpful. Even pointed us to a taco stand a few blocks away which served up great food. Plenty of close by supermarkets, walking opportunities for the young moms with their babies in strollers, a short drive to the boardwalk, and a very quiet neighborhood. Even found some free tennis courts at the Pacific Beach Recreation Center. The host might want to add more bandwidth to the wifi/internet. Overall, a super nice time.

The photos don't do this home justice! The kitchen, living area and backyard are stunning. We didn't want to leave! It was so easy talking with Tom and Phoebe, the owners. They responded to text messages in seconds. They answered questions and helped us whenever we needed. My only downsides were that there were skylights on two of the bedroom ceilings (personal preference) and the fireplace isn't working. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with all the basics like pantry items, small appliances and pots/pans. I've already been recommending this house to my friends and family. Thank you Tom and Phoebe!

This is a beautiful home and property that was perfect in every way for our group. Plenty of beds and space, and close proximity to all we were doing, Tom was a great host! He met us at the house, showed us how everything worked, and was readily available whenever we had questions.

First of all, the pictures do not do it justice. The property is amazing and large and easy to move about for many folks. We spent much of our time outdoors because the pool and spa and fire pit were so easy and fun to enjoy. The bedrooms and bathrooms seemed to suit us easily. And the kitchen was large and had plenty of space for those gathered around the chef of the night. This is a hidden gem! And close to the bay and the beach. Don't miss it!

Wonderful home for friends and families. Beautiful lot with pool and hot tub. Spacious outdoor grill area and indoor kitchen. Close to the main attractions. Lots of extras included beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and toys. Just bring your clothes.

Family and friends on weekend loved our place. We felt far away from everything and loved the pool and hot tub, ping pong,, bbq. Kitchen fully stocked! Tom even let us have beers from outdoor refrigerator while we waited to get in! Highly recommend! Just know if you want to sleep in, some rooms have skylights above!

This was the perfect vacation home for my family. The open living space allowed 6 adults and 4 children to feel very comfortable. The house was well stocked with kitchen ware, plenty of towels and clean spacious bathrooms. We especially loved the outdoor living space.
