The central location, the room was extra clean and its shower with nice structure

The room is smaller than what I expected, for a solo traveler it was ok but if 2 people use it would be tight for them

The most lovely stay at Harding boutique. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very special thanks to the staff. The rooms for bright and comfortable. Great breakfast with lots of different options. Nice pool with sun beds and the option of lying on the beach on the bean bags. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and happy to help in any way! Would definitely stay here again :)

The best thing about the hotel are the staff - everyone was exceptionally friendly and lovely to interact with, always willing to help. We received a message in advance asking for special requests etc. The hotel is small but very clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. We had dinner at the roof top bar which was nice but overpriced in my opinion for what it was. It’s modern but authentic design, all necessities were provided. I enjoyed the fact that everything was Harding branded. The room was cleaned twice a day.
Although there is a private beach, it is very very small. The pool is also quite small. The garden view … was non existent - solid black fence and a barbed wire fence. You get free water in the room but water is not free at breakfast, for the raring this hotel is aiming to have that’s doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t have to be bottled water, even purified water is widely available in Sri Lanka in other much cheaper hotels. Other small things - roof top restaurant but bathroom all the way to the bottom floor with no lift. No issue for us but can see it being issue for others. We had a room in the adjacent building which I don’t recommend staying in. Either get a room in the main hotel or go somewhere else. There was no balcony or patio, even though we were aware we were staying in the adjacent building - it literally came with none of the amenities we were looking forward to enjoying - the open shower, seats outside etc. No clothes drier provided either which for a beach hotel is not convenient as nowhere to dry swimwear.
