Max’s Beach Retreat is a spacious luxury vacation home 1.5 blocks from the sparkling waters and white sands of Cherry Grove Beach in North Myrtle Beach, which is known for its stunning beaches and relaxed coastal atmosphere. This home combines easy beach access with an exceptional outdoor living experiences guests return for year after year – a true backyard oasis with a private pool and spa, outdoor bar and grill, a comfortable seating area, and multiple gathering spaces designed for relaxing and spending time together. With 2,300 sq ft of interior space, a large outdoor pool and spa area, and 3 decks, there is room for everyone to relax! Max’s Beach Retreat also features an open floor plan, a fully equipped kitchen, flat screen TVs in all 4 bedrooms and the living room, 3 full baths and a small sitting area upstairs perfect for reading or relaxing. The home sleeps up to 10 with two bedrooms upstairs (a large master suite with a king bed and ensuite bath and Jacuzzi tub and a bedroom with two queen beds and an ensuite bath) and two bedrooms downstairs (a second master bedroom with king bed and fourth bedroom with a queen bed and one full bath). Max’s Beach Retreat is pet friendly - it has to be, it's named after our Max! So, bring the furry family members too! The house features WiFi, key less entry, full linen package, a washer and dryer on the second floor, a grill and beach chairs and a wagon. Within 5 minutes, you can walk to the beach, to the local grocery store (which offers so much more than just groceries!), restaurants, and ice cream shops. Please check out our reviews! This property is a 10 plus! The home is beautiful and was immaculate. The owners have paid attention to detail and provide everything you could possibly need plus some! The walk to beach was so easy and enjoyed having stores and restaurants easy to walk to as well. We were traveling with a group of 10 that included four children ages three and under. Let me say this home was absolutely perfect for us! The pool, hot tub and outdoor living spaces were amazing! Would highly recommend and if we travel back this will be our first choice!

All the positive things that other reviews stated were accurate -- clean, spacious, lots of seating, ample amenities, TV with apps in every room, ceiling fans throughout, great communication, friendly, etc. We spent the last week of May at the rental and the weather was perfect for the pool (high 70s to low 80s). It is the Atlantic coast so it did rain several days, but it was usually at night or very early morning, so we could still use the pool during the day every day. The beach is 2 blocks away and walkable, but if you have a lot to carry or have physical constraints, you can park in the lot across from the IGA for a small fee (pay online via mobile device). There are no shaded areas on the beach, so bring an umbrella if you're driving. We flew, so we didn't have an umbrella, so we went during the afternoon when the sun wasn't so intense. As with most VRBOs, you receive a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, etc. You will need to bring your own pool/beach towels; I just used vacuum bags so they wouldn't take up a ton of space in our luggage. The rental is perfect for a few couples or a family as there are 3 full bathrooms. Bottomline, we'd definitely rent from Marla and Jamie again. Note: For those with back or leg problems, please understand you will have to use stairs to get into the house and down to the pool even if you stay in a bedroom on the first floor. This is standard for all homes in that area, so it's part of the North Myrtle Beach experience.
