Great location across the street from town park, and close to shops and cafes. Older property was clean and had much character. The coffee room and veranda were a nice touch. Free parking was a bonus, as was the 10% off coupon for the restaurant on main floor.
While not an issue for us, the hotel lobby and rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd stories of the building (restaurant and shops on street level). Stairs might be challenging for some.

Auberge Knowlton is conveniently located. We were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The inn is beautiful with original wood plank floors. We were on the third floor. We loved the high ceiling of our room which made it feel very open. Again, wood floors throughout. Two comfortable beds in an appropriate sized room for 2 people. We felt like we had lots of room. An antique wardrobe provided lots of space for hanging clothes and we loved that the door was older with an actual key! We were offered free coffee at a station in the hallway and also use of a well appointed communal room on the second floor. The beds were very comfortable.

The facilities are aging. There was no hot water in the morning and the shower head was not working. Not worth it for the price
The bed was uncomfortable and nothing was working well in the bathroom
