Had the feel of a B&B even though a hotel. Quant, older style property. Staff friendly. Convenient to town of Knowlton and only 1.5 hours from Montreal. Nice if you are a Louise Penny fan as parts of the town inspired her books. Convenient to the nearby Abbey which is worth a visit.
Called Lakeview but there is not view of the lake. Property set back too far and trees too large to get a view of the lake. Older place so bathroom was very small and tiny sink was outside of the bathroom.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Knowlton. We could walk to the Saturday morning market, to Douglas beach, the Marina and of course to the rest of the village. The place has heritage vibes with modern comforts. Although we didn't have a fridge in the room, there is a common room with 2 fridges available, and a kettle and microwave, allowing for information meals to be enjoyed. The pool area is also very nice and the water is cool and fresh. The breakfasts are also very good!
Not much to say here, we enjoyed our weekend there.
