The condo was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Owners had clearly put a lot of effort into making it a sweet little hideaway. Nice little sitting area on one side. Parking spot was very hard to get into, and I wouldn’t have stayed here alone as the area was a little sketchy after dark with parking on a back alley. It was all on one level downstairs, so a noisy family kept us awake one night. On the positive side, it was super fun to be able to walk a few steps and be on the beach any walk the other way and be on the Bay. It was also very conveniently located to hop on main roads to visit sites. We enjoyed great Greek food at a very humble looking little street cafe. This would be an especially ideal place for families in the spring and summer.

Great Location and such a cozy and clean place. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms which is nice. We were able to check in early which was huge for us! A big thumbs up, this place was perfect for 2 couples or a family.

Stayed in this welcoming spot with my husband and almost adult son to celebrate the boy's upcoming birthday. The host was responsive and friendly when I reached out around arrival questions and the location was unparalleled. It was just steps from the beach and the bay as promised and such a fun surrounding area. There were restaurants, shops and all that Mission Beach has to offer. I cannot make a higher recommendation!

Property met our needs for us three close friends, but is very dated. Would recommend supplying new towels as the ones provides were very thin and rough to the touch. We mostly only slept there, so didn’t have time to take advantage of the bikes, beach boards or the cute patio. All in all it was a great trip and good location.

My husband and I stayed here with our 14 month old son, it was wonderful! The location was perfect. We were directly between the bay and ocean and a few steps away from a great park. The owners were more than accommodating and responded quickly to all my inquiries. They had everything we needed (pack and play, toys, and high chair) so we didn’t have to travel with those items. We have every intention of staying here again if there is availability. Thank you!

We loved our stay here for mine and my daughter’s birthday! It is so close to everything fun. The condo is perfect and a great size for family time and games but also to relax when needed. The owners were so amazing through the whole process! Highly recommend and we already want to stay again! Thank you so much!!!

I spent two nights with my buddies at the property while on a deep sea fishing trip. The location and property were perfect for what we were doing. The size of the condo was perfect for 4 people and the home is kept-up well. A few critiques: 1. The fridge had too much food, condiments, etc. from previous guests. I think anything opened should be thrown away and the fridge should by wiped down each time a guest(s) vacate. 2. We were asked to run the dish washer, but there were no pods to run the washer with. We decided to run it with hot water anyway and the stench coming from the washer was intense. On further inspection, the pod container was caked with months of residue. Finally, We could not get the antiquated Keurig to work. Having easy access to coffee in the morning is key for a lot of people. In the end, a clean kitchen is really important to me and for that reason, I would not reserve this property again.

This place gave us a perfect home base for the start of our visit to San Diego. Beaches and Belmont Park were minutes away, as were many restaurant options. It was well equipped and comfortable and we loved having the space and the patio to enjoy when we weren't our exploring the area. We would definitely stay again!

Property was very clean, great location and Natalie was very prompt in answering our questions. We loved our stay and how close it was to Mission beach, downtown to sightsee, and other beaches. We loved using the bikes to go up and down the boardwalk when the weather was chilly. Definitely recommend!

One of my families favorite ways to unplugged and recharge is relaxing on the beach. Over the years we have made Mission Beach our go-to, but typically during busy times spending top dollar for less-than-ideal hotel rooms. We opted to try VRBO for the first time and will not go back to hotels! The location was amazing! The booking was exactly as listed with no surprises, but what made this exceed expectations was or experience with the hosts. We reached out prior to the vacation. Responses were prompt, kind, and personal! An unbelievable experience; we are already planning to stay here again!

Location is best part of this rental. It needs a deep cleaning badly. The 2nd bathroom is bad. Kitchen smelled like dead fish. No shade on kitchen window made it very uncomfortable. Bath towels please! Nasty looking wash cloths.. yuck.

Location close to everything. Steps away from pacific beach and the boardwalk and in the other direction the quiet bay. Loved the private patio too. Perfect place for two couples or girls trip!!

A group of five of us women stayed for the weekend. We had a blast. The house is pretty close to the beach and sites we wanted to see. It was also pretty close to the airport. The only issues we really had, were because there isn’t air conditioning in the condo. We visited during a hot weekend and had a difficult time sleeping at night because it was so hot. We did have a few fans, but they didn’t help that much. There were times we could open the doors/windows to get some wind coming through, but the neighbors smoked a lot on their balcony, and we had to shut the windows and doors. That part was a bummer. The good part is, we still enjoyed our weekend. But with the company we had, who wouldn’t!? Just know when you book, this place has no air conditioning. Had this been more clear when I booked, I probably would’ve chosen a different place.

This property is located between the bay and Mission Beach. Historic Belmont Park is right across the street. We enjoyed the patio and spent most of our time outside. We were there in August and the condo was warm(no AC) but that is common at the beach. They had a couple fans that helped. This condo was clean and homey. The kitchen was well stocked. There were plenty of towels and linens, not fancy, but sufficed. We loved our time in SD and would rent this cute condo again.

The house was exactly what we needed. Close to everything, easy to find, grill, etc. Our only complaint was there were not enough bath towels and forks. If the house can accommodate 6, there should be enough bath towels and kitchen utensils those 6 people. Not a deal breaker, especially since we could do laundry on site with an app on our phone. That was very a nice perk! Thanks for having a great place for our family to stay.

We enjoyed our weekend at this rental. It was close to the beach and the bay and to lots of restaurants. The front patio was where we spent most of our time. It has a large table and comfortable chairs. It’s very private too. We found this place to be quiet both during the day and nighttime too. The owner, Natalie, was easy to contact and always replied quickly to our questions.
