Great room, nice terrace and gardens.
Great breakfast.
Staff all friendly and helpful.
We were walking on Rota Vicentina - this location is 3 km from the town, so be aware of the extra distance and time if you are walking.

Super leckeres Frühstück, komfortable schöne Zimmer, alles sehr sauber, Anlage mit Blick auf kleinen See, Besitzerin sehr freundlich, wäscht auf Anfrage Wäsche in ihrer Waschmaschine gegen Gebühr
Wir sind den Fischerweg gelaufen und mussten dann von Zambujeira nochmal 2,5-3 km an einer viel befahrenen Straße entlang. Unterkunft ist deshalb für Leute, die den Fischerweg laufen, nicht optimal aufgrund der zusätzlichen Strecke und weil es auch keine Essgelegenheiten vor Ort gibt/Kochmöglichkeit. Wir haben deshalb aus dem Ort etwas mitgenommen und im Zimmer gegessen.

Brilliant property a little way outside Zambujeira. The rooms are set around a little lake with boats for the guests to use. There is a swimming pool too. The ruins are lovely and the area is incredibly quiet. The walk from Zambujeira is about 30-40 minutes along the side of the tias. I would recommend getting a taxi from Zambujeira as there are several options and they are very cheap. The owners of the Herdade also own a couple of restaurants in Zambujeira so you can get discounts. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.
It’s a little way outside Zambujeira so you need to get a taxi for a few euros to get there. However that’s really not a big problem for such a nice place.

The room was lovely and the property was beautiful.
Breakfast was generous and fresh and tasty.
Great to have access to the pool and see the turtles in the lake!
Take care with location if you're hiking fishermans trail. Its along a long road with no pavement. Uber was super quick and only €5, so don't let it put you off
No food available at the property so need to be prepared or take a taxi back and forth
Bathrooms could do with updating
