The Best Western in Socorro has been the host hotel for the Chili Harvest Triathlon for many years.

It was a plus to have the coffee & flavored creamers available prior to 6am. My second floor request was honored & the tv and refrigerator were both working. Having a refrigerator that is working properly is important to my race trips in order to keep my fruits & coconut waters cool for race day!

The bathtub had a issue with draining. Once I removed the tub plug the water emptied correctly. There was no paper tv guide for the locals channels. I managed to lose 45-90 seconds of my TV time searching. LOL.

Easy to check in/out. Right Next to food places and the gym is super nice.

The hotel is right next to a burger king which made it so easy to just walk over get food and go back!

Said breakfast was at 7 on weekends yet folks were eating at 6:30. Also, you had to walk around the outside of hotel to get to the pool from your room

it was a converted motel. not quality I expected for a best western and especially at that price. willnotbiik s best western again. very disappointed.

Very good

In a wide spot in the road, close to the interstate, my expectations were pretty low, but the BW came through. Only two blocks away was the Jackson Ranch Steakhouse, a gem of a reasonably priced high quality food place.

not only was I inconvenienced, but they booked someone into the adjacent room to me that checked in at 2:45 AM and the p

there wasn’t really very much too like about this. I paid a lot of money for this room, and expected to have a good stay in this day was very horrid!

they booked me into an annex facility. I did NOT travel this far and pay this sort of money to be booked into a “separate” building away from the main property. and the folks behind the desk made excuses about where they booked me instead of the main motel facility.

Pool awesome, Employees were amazing and very nice, Room was clean, Breakfast was good, Overall was an awesome stay!!! Thank you all!!!

Room kind of small, Bed was too hard, Pillows too flat, Could have more hot meal options for breakfast.

Superb

Very nice..my only issue is a lack of accommodations for the dogs since i paid for them. No yard, no grass...had to walk along street with lots of trash.

It's a decent stay if you are not sensitive to noise.

The room is clean and breakfast is decent. Shower is warm in winter. Bed is very comfort.

The room are noisy. There is constant plumping noise inside the building and highway noise in the night.

We have stayed here before and will probably stay here again as we pass through New Mexico.

When I called and talked to the desk clerk about a week before arriving I told him we needed a room close to the lobby for breakfast because my wife uses a walker and that it would make it a lot easier for her. He put me on hold for a minute to make note of that. When he came back on the phone he said it was taken care of. When we checked in and went to our room , it was about as far from the lobby as you could get possibly get.

FANTASTIC STAY!

Checkin was easy. The staff was friendly. The grounds was clean. There was a microwave and fridge in the room. A decent variety of towels. A laundry room available for guests on the grounds(packets of washing detergents is available for sale/you can get quarters from the front desk). There is a McDonald's and Sonic in walking distance. Oh, there is a pool, hot tub and gym on the premises. Free parking. We really enjoyed our stay!

Honestly there wasn't anything that I didn't like. The only thing I would suggest is having a desktop in a more quiet/secluded place instead of in the lobby/reception area. It's to noisy and to many eyes. But I was grateful it was available and I was able to do my online college work(We were visiting from Florida and hurricane Ian had just occurred, however online classes work was still due and I didn't bring my laptop). The staff was very helpful and accommodating. There was a young man with cute colorful hair that made coffee and advised me of such. Lol! I was utilizing the computer for a while(Administrative Law Online class). He was sweet.

Breakfast was good. Room at the front of the motor inn got some road noise. A couple of minor maintenance issues...loose towel rack, bathroom door catching on tile floor. Staff courteous, including housekeeping.

A couple of minor maintenance issues...loose towel rack (top right mounting screw), bathroom door catching/dragging on the tile floor, commode flushing a bit weak or slow. Some signs on doors had not been updated and did not reflect the hotel's current COVID mask policy. Older or less fit travelers should be made aware there is no elevator for reaching the second floor. Lobby bathrooms were locked.

Nice, clean room. Easy access. It was close to gas and restaurants.

I was in the downstairs and room next to the freeway. VERY NOISY. Check-in clerks were a bit sour. Grim breakfast assortment.

Very bad service!!!

When the Service is not good! I and My Family did not like it at all. This particular Best Western Hotel in Socorro; I noticed that they were not well organized or the personal that its working there are new. But; We booked 2 rooms. 3 nights that I stayed with family in this place, the cleaning staff, never came to clean the rooms.

On the first day I noticed that cleaning staff never came to clean the room and I went to the front desk and I asked the attendant why the rooms are not clean; he told me, because you need to request that. Oh! Ok. We are stying two more nights. We are requesting "Cleaning" in both rooms for the next two nights. Well, That never happen.
