After such a long time not able to travel, we were lucky enough to visit Dublin for a few weeks this summer. We needed a place that could accommodate a family with enough space to spread out and within walking distance to pubs and the city center. The Grand Canal Townhouse was the perfect answer to all that we needed. Not only was the location great, the check-in process was seamless, and John was a pleasure to communicate with. He arranged for the home to be cleaned weekly and checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the visit. We could walk to several great pubs, take our laundry to be cleaned just down the street, visit the pharmacy just around the corner, and get groceries from one of several shops nearby. I hope we can visit as a family again and would definitely stay in this townhouse in the future.

Had a small problem with double booking and we were switched to this unit but it was not all bad. This unit had an awesome view with floor to ceiling windows right on the grand canal. The condo was spacious and beds were comfortable. John the host was easy to deal with and communication was good. Would recommend for larger groups or families

Excellent location, walking distance to several good restaurants and pubs. The house itself is nicely appointed and has all the modern conveniences. Very clean, very comfortable beds. It is only 30 minutes to Dublin airport and John had a welcome basket waiting for us. Communication was excellent and we would definitely stay there again if we go back to Ireland.

We didn’t arrive until after midnight on our first night. We actually arrived a night early; I emailed the owner and within 15 minutes he responded to let me know the unit was available tonight early. When we arrived he had a welcome basket including cereal and milk. We got there late and this was a lifesaver for my grandchildren that were traveling with us. They had two bowls of cereal and milk before they went to bed that night. I don’t know what we would’ve done otherwise as we would not have known anywhere to find something to eat for them that late at night. When we opened the door our grandkids ran in and came back out and said it is so beautiful here! The accommodations are top-notch! Everything seems brand new and they had everything we needed. Right down to converter for plug-ins, spices, Ice!, Plastic and paper bags in the cabinets (you have to have those or you get charged for them here), fans on each level to pull in the cool air from outside and so much more. We had six guests staying here and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub after our long days of walking. The owner emailed me to see if we need an extra towels. We thought we were fine he still delivered extra house in the middle of the week. My mom lost her credit cards during our trip and had to have new cards delivered. He let us know that there was a mailbox and the key that we could use if needed. The service was just beyond expectations!! Oh and location was great. Anytime we ordered taxis we were within 10-15 minutes of anywhere in the city Thanks so much!!!! 5 star!!!
