Staff were super helpful and friendly. Room was very clean, parking directly outside although this is payable (approx 11 euro a day) however we signed up to become members of Ibis (for free) and got free parking for our stay which was offered to us by a staff member, which was great! It was a short walk into Vlaardingen for dinner/drinks. Garage directly outside and McDonald's however hotel has a bar and restaurant which looked lovely but we did not use.
If you were wanting to go into Rotterdam, the public transport would have taken an hour by train therefore we drove. However the hotel does have bikes for hire so this may be worth looking into. No in room tea/coffee making facilities but there is a free coffee machine downstairs in the lobby. :)

The personnel at the desk was very kind and helpful.
The parking was secured and 8€ for the night.
Someone was here even if I arrived that was very appreciated.

Friendly staff. Mattress was comfortable. Hotel is clean.
Breakfast is lovely ,plenty to choose. Staff is very friendly.
Small room, little space for hanging clothes.
We are staying there for the last 20 years once or twice a year but the service level is declining .This time we stayed for 5 nights and payed €766.00 excluding local taxes an amount you can expect full service.
Restaurant and bar is very badly managed. We stayed 5 nights, 2 nights bar closed. Due to no staff. Restaurant closed for our entire stay .due to no staff. Pizza was available except for one evening. Had to go to Macdonald’s across the road twice. If not having a car the walk into city centre is 20 minutes.
I complained about this and I was told by a staff member; quote We (hotel staff) are forgotten what hospitality towards guest means. The hotel seems to be focused on refugees whom are staying there.
According to staff members it is because of poor staff roster by management. Allowing too many staff going on their holidays at the same time. Poor training of staff members . Poor stock management.
Like we experienced several years in a row, bad stock taking, no Vodka, no 7-up, no rum. Poor for a hotel part of such a big hotel chain .
Complimentary coffee corner in lobby was not replenished or cleaned often enough after 6pm. Dirty, flies,
Hotel is used for passing through guest for one or two nights ,for them it is just acceptable but hotel is poor if staying for longer.
