A great hotel close to the cruise departure points.

We needed a hotel for a one night stay prior to a cruise departure and chose the Mövenpick because of its location. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff were most helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a large selection, The room was quiet and had an excellent view.

Ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für eine Reise nach Amsterdam, wenn ein kleiner Spaziergang zur City okay

Frühstück super, freundliches Personal; man kann abends einen schönen Spaziergang zum Pier machen und den regen Flussverkehr beobachten; 15 min zu Fuß zum Hauptbahnhof

Das sich nebenan im Bimhuis befindene 4'33 Café hat leider nicht jeden Tag geöffnet, hier kann man bei einer tollen Aussicht Kaffee, Cocktails & ein Dinner genießen.

Overall a nice experience

The breakfast was nice, good selection. Room was clean and beds were comfortable.

One morning the saunas weren't turned on and the gym had not been cleaned.

Mooie kamer op een super locatie

We hadden geboekt met leerlingen. Last minute een kamer moeten veranderen. Dot was geen enkel probleem.. tot nadien.. Er werden toch kosten afgehouden van de visa voor het niet nemen van een kamer.. Maar we hadden deze omgewisseld.. gebeld maar niets hielp...

A modern and nice hotel

- The view from the window - The modern design of the hotel - Mövenpick ice cream in the lobby - The breakfast has a lot of varieties - The value for money parking lot

- We were given the room which was just opposite the lift. Every time we opened the door, people who waited for the lift could see the room through. It would be good to be asked when we checked in. - It was too noisy at the breakfast area, one reason was that it was a peak hour in the holiday period. Another reason could be a poor design of the area, which was too shallowed, and the materials used were not sound proofing. I felt stressed to eat my breakfast. - It was not easy to find restaurants nearby.

Short but sweet stay

The Superior room with a View was very spacious and had a great layout, and of course view of the river. The breakfast was great, it had plenty of options.

A very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We had a room with a view. We were a 10 min walk to central station and everything was close to central station. You can get a train from central station to schiphol airport. The hotel was very clean and very comfortable. The staff were so nice and friendly and had very good english.

I have no complaints about the hotel everything was lovely

We enjoyed a very comfortable & relaxing stay.

Clean, modern, & great range of facilities. All the staff were very friendly, helpful & professional. Complimentary upgrade was offered to us, without us even having to ask.

Nice Hotel near Amsterdam Centraal, fair prices, nice spa

Ich habe spontan ein Zimmerupgrade bekommen, das hat mich sehr gefreut :) Das Zimmer war sauber, hatte einen schönen Blick, eine gute Aussicht und auch sonst alles was man braucht. Die Sauna war wirklich sehr angenehm und hatte eine gute Größe! Das Personal war überwiegend sehr freundlich.

Ich bestellte mir morgens Frühstück aufs Zimmer, lediglich Omelette mit Pilzen. Bekam aber zusätzlich noch 4-5 Brötchen sowie Süßgebäck. Das ist ja sehr lieb gemeint, aber es ist schade um die Lebensmittel, da ich alleine so viel nicht schaffen würde und zusätzlich eine Gluten Unverträglichkeit habe. Daher konnte ich davon nichts essen. Nach dem Frühstück fühlte ich mich leider auch nicht sonderlich gut, woran es genau lag, kann ich nicht sagen. Ich gab dies an der Rezeption weiter, die Dame notierte sich alles fleißig und wollte sich bei mir per Mail zurückmelden, das ist jetzt jedoch nach einer Woche immer noch nicht passiert. Das war jetzt aber nicht dramatisch, insgesamt habe ich meinen kurzen Aufenthalt genossen!

Die Junge Dame an der Rezeption war sehr nett und hilfsbereit:) Vielen lieben Dank!!! Es hat uns sehr gefallen, eines Tages komme wir gerne wieder:)

Nichts gefunden. Update vom 14.2.2024 Eine Sache doch gefunden... Es ist die Kaution dir wir hinterlegt haben, bis heute haben wir keine Rückerstattung bekommen. Ich habe vor paar Tagen Hotel angeschrieben. Jedoch ohne Rückantwort. Schade..

Excellent hotel and staff, good location walking distance to centre and also public transport,

Staff went out of their way to help us - especially when my daughter was sick and needed to see a Dr.

My suitcase handle was broken by the porter and I ahd to replace it to travel back to Australia.

Merkeze cok uzak. Dunyanin en sacma ısıtma sistemi 25 derecenin üzerine çıkmıyor. 25 hiç olmuyor ve sürekli çalışıyor gece boyunca soğuk üflüyor. Yastıklar cok ince ek istedik gelende pis kullanılmış ve oda inceydi.

Prachtige locatie, mooi uitzicht, ruime kamer, moderne badkamer en snelle liften. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Koffie en thee faciliteiten aanwezig.

Personeel moet haar eigen processen beter kennen, spreken elkaar nu te vaak tegen. De ontvangst was niet klantvriendelijk. In de ontbijtzaal kon ik geen warm water voor de thee vinden. Het gezoem van de airco was onaangenaam. Het water ruikt en smaakt naar azijn.

Wir sind schon etwas älter und unser Englisch ist nicht so gut, das nette Personal hat uns geholfen.

Das Frühstück war super es hat nichts gefehlt, sehr nettes Personal. Die Lage des Hotels war auch super, zu Fuß war alles erreichbar.

Loved this hotel and will definitely be back

The room was comfortable and spacious with a great wardrobe area, ironing board and iron, free safe, massive TV and coffee machine with coffee pods. My room on the 16th floor, what an absolutely brilliant view, every night i loved sitting on the sofa and enjoying the view over the water and the train station and even saw some cruise ships docking alongside the hotel. The heated bathroom floor was a nice surprise and much appreciated in the cold weather. The breakfast was tasty with a wide variety, my fried eggs were done to perfection and staff were very friendly and cleared the tables quickly.

On my 1st night my fridge when opened had constant flashing lights and had NO coldness at all, i did report this to the reception the next morning and was advised that this would be fixed immediately, the flashing lights were fixed but still no coldness at all. For this reason it would have been handy to have an ice machine or cold water fountain available outside of the bar hours maybe having one on each floor.

De receptionisten waren allebei onhandig en wat lang op zoek naar de juiste gegevens. Het diner had een heel lekkere soep, maar het hoofdgerecht (kabeljauw) was nogal smakeloos, en het lag op een kwak aardappelpuree, geen inspiratie, geen goede groenten

My stay was very pleasant and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The place is very modern, clean, and has a nice view of the river and Amsterdam skyline. It is worth the money.

Some basic toiletries are missing like dental kit. No telephone line to the receptionist. No bidet as well.
