Beautiful hotel in historic Cusco

Excellent location to walk historic Cusco. The lobby restaurant area is beautiful. The rooms were confortable and the bathroom had an amazing shower and heated floors. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Beautiful building and art work on display.

El hotel tiene una excelente atmósfera. El personal es muy dedicado y agradable. El desayuno es bueno también y tienen una buena carta.

En la mi habitación el aire acondicionado no estaba muy bien.

Atendimento Grosseiro e Desrespeitoso

A localização era boa. O hotel está localizado há uns 200 metros da Plaza de Armas. A minha estadia não teve café da manhã.

LEIAM! O atendente da recepção que realizou o nosso check in, do dia 04/01, aproximadamente às 15h30, foi extremamente grosseiro e sem educação. Nós havíamos realizado a reserva do hotel em agosto de 2023, por meio de outro canal, e, logo que fizemos a reserva, enviamos um email ao hotel, para confirmar se estava tudo certo. Nesse momento, o hotel afirmou que a reserva estava confirmada e paga. Entretanto, ao chegarmos ao hotel, agora em janeiro de 2024, eles informaram que a nossa reserva estava cancelada e que nada podiam fazer a respeito. Além disso, informaram que a reserva havia sido realizada por cartão de crédito, quando na verdade foi realizada através de boleto bancário. Frisa-se que o hotel se recusou a fornecer comprovante de estorno do valor pago anteriormente, e ainda cobrou outro valor para realizar uma nova reserva. Entretanto, como sou nível Genius aqui no booking, preferi realizar a reserva por aqui, já que deu mais de 200 dólares de diferença. Portanto, tivemos que pagar uma nova reserva, sendo que a outra já estava paga e confirmada por eles. Além disso, o atendente se recusou a fornecer uma cama de casal para nós. Ou seja, nos hospedamos em um quarto com duas camas de solteiro. O que é um absurdo, pois estávamos comemorando 1 ano de casados. Além disso, a acomodação não era 100% limpa. Enfim, o atendimento do Novotel foi péssimo. NÃO RECOMENDO!

Nice hotel but several other cheaper options available.

Book it only if you are going to be staying at the hotel most of the time. If you are going to be on tours everyday and only coming back to sleep, probably not worth it. Although my experience at Novotel was nice, I rate it as average cos there are many more boutique hotels in Cusco with similar rooms and better views available for less than half the price. The staff are very helpful and almost everyone could communicate in English. I appreciate that they sent a cake to my room the day of my wife's birthday. The room was nice but for $170 it seemed ok. For the last day of the trip, we could cancel our stay at Novotel for free and moved into a boutique hotel for $63 a night where we got upgraded to a suite room with 300 degree view of the mountains. So could have saved $400 had we booked this hotel for the complete stay.

I booked a room with 2 twin beds as there was no room available with Full/King bed. The receptionist had told me the day of check-in that they would move us to a different room the next day. However, we were not moved as no other rooms were available. I totally understand that they might be fully booked but you expect them to give you priority when you book 5 nights with them. They could have probably compensated us for the breakfast we had on 2 days. I could have become a loyal customer.

I would definitely recommend to friends traveling to Cusco!

I loved the location and also the lobby area where all sorts of travelers would hang out during the day. Your staff was very accommodating and professional

When I realized how nice it was, I wanted to stay a few extra nights but the price went way up vs what I was able to get with online booking. I had to switch gears because I could not rationalize the price.

Beautiful hotel with lovely facilities. after the 4 day Inca trail we were dropped at Novotel and unfortunately I left my bag in the taxi with my passport and phone etc. The lovely man on reception upgraded us to a better room with a bath which was so welcomed after our trek. All the staff were so friendly and it’s really close to the main square. 100% would stay again.

Excellent!

A great hotel in a great location, 3 min walk to the main plaza. Had a great room, spacious, very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, eating outside in the yard was very nice. Staff was very polite. No doubt it was hy far better than a nearby hotel where I stayed 5 years ago (I won't mention its name), in which I paid much more and had a dark room deep underground.

Location was great walking distance to the square of Cusco. Staff members extremely nice and helpful. Very clean rooms and amazing Spanish styling.

Beautiful courtyard, comfortable stay in convenient location

The courtyard is so beautiful. Perfect place for breakfast or just to catch up on some wifi. The breakfast one morning with Pork adobo and corn tamales (steamed corn cakes) was my favourite meal in Cusco! So hearty, rustic and delicious! This should be added to the menu so it's available for lunch/dinner! Location is convenient, generally you can walk everywhere early. Rooms are clean. I liked the room with a double bed and more space to place your luggage. There was one which was 2 double beds combined as one bed that took the whole room, which was unnecessary and inconvenient for 1person but would be amazing for a family!

Shower in one room had a problem. This was the night after the inc trail so was very disappointing. Would have given a 10 if not for this.

Property and staff were first class

The PiscoSour lessons were really fun and we met some other tourist that were great.

My room didn't have a phone charger near my bed and no alarm clock in my room. I had to get up at 330 am to catch the bus to Machu Picchu trail and it made me a nervous wreck.
