Absolutely beautiful with a wonderful vibe. The buildings were architecturally interesting, surrounded by wonderful verdant gardens (and a discreet swimming pool which integrated perfectly with the overall landscape). The interiors were stylish and understated. Polished floors, intricate brickwork ceilings and rugs everywhere. Staff were friendly and attentive. Restaurant was excellent (both for dinner and breakfast) and complemented by a relaxed bar with a great range of wines. Faultless. Looking forward to returning.

The structure is really nice and it has everything for a relaxing weekend away. Comfortable rooms and a good onsite restaurant.
Never been in a 4+ star hotel that didn't allow you to stay past check out to use the facilities after vacating the room, this inflexibility was explained as "the pool is too small to host departing guests and new guests"... Also, the cost of the spa seems very high

The staff at the bar and in the wine banc was great. At the reception some were exceptional.
The communication about dinner reservations. We booked the superior rooms but they didn’t look like the rooms shown on the homepage. My impression was if you book with booking.com you get the least attractive rooms with an unpleasant view and not the ones which are described.
