A estadia foi muito boa e agradável.

O pequeno-almoço é excelente! Comida muito boa e com muita diversidade. A localização do hotel é a melhor que poderíamos ter na cidade. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestáveis.

A arrumação e limpeza do quarto é média. No primeiro dia a cama não foi sequer feita, o que estranhei, mas como ia ficar apenas três noites resolvi fazer eu a cama e não me estar a aborrecer a reclamar! Nos segundo e terceiro dia a cama foi feita.

Si….ma anche no!!

Sicuramente la posizione ottima (tunnelbana a pochi metri e in una zona viva e vivibile);l’atmosfera di altri tempi e la pulizia!

Diciamo che trovare i tappi per le orecchie sul comodino non è stato di buon auspicio:di fatto l’hotel -tra ristorante e lounge bar le sere del week end - è stracolmo e se torni da una giornata passata ad esplorare la città,il riposo può essere accompagnato da vociare di sottofondo e musica! *Colazione abbondante ma ripetitiva,stufa un po’ dopo qualche giorno! *ho avuto l’accappatoio in camera ma dopo due giorni,messo a lavare, non l’ho riavuto….e non esistono cuffie per la doccia ne bagnoschiuma (lo shampoo indicato anche per il corpo mi ha fatto venire le squame alla pelle). *lo staff carino,ma quasi non abituato alle domande di un viaggiatore (sembra quasi un albergo solo per uomini e donne di affari che già conoscono Stoccolma e per drink e movida serale)! Insomma,per quanto pagato mi aspettavo qualche dettaglio in più!

Great stay in central Stockholm with amazing breakfast

The breakfast was fantastic, a wide ranging buffet with both North American and Scandinavian breakfast options. The hotel also had a really great vibe and style throughout the lobby, dining area and the room.

Not a big deal, and like many other accommodations in Sweden, there was no air conditioning.

Central location.

The hotel is old & could do with a refurbishment. This seemed to be being addressed in some rooms on our floor. Although there was no noise disturbance there was some furniture in the corridor & lift.

Very happy with the stay and experience

The breakfast was top notch – excellent food and lots to choose from, and the tables was placed in a way that it felt that you could sit semi-privately. The rooms are cosy and decorated in a way so you can feel the older nisch for the hotel, but still with a modern touch in the areas that matter (bathrooms). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Very nice evening bar. Close to Metro Station and easy walk to the city centre.

Very noisey at night. Not the hotels fault thou, as it is located near a popular party street, and the hotel offered free earplugs in the room

Lovely old hotel. Quite comfortable with friendly staff. Good for families.

Ideal location, facilities need improvement

Location and cleanliness were perfect

Room was rather small, the shower was really bad with terrible water pressure, mayaswell have showered in the rain, and i would typically expect some bottled water to be available in the room, but this wasn't the case

The location was excellent, the receptionist very friendly, the breakfast staff asleep!

The location was excellent.

The pillows were lumpy, the bedding quality was low, the bathroom floor was ice cold, the room was tiny, the noise from the music and the partying in adjacent rooms kept me awake half the night - no wonder that the only item they give in the room is a packet of earplugs!!

Not the kind of place it seems

My time in Stockholm could have been exponentially better had I not stayed at the Kung Carl. Definitely do not bring your children here, and certainly do not come if you are a solo traveler seeking peace and quiet. Although being unable to sleep and being forced to listen to the people next door doing certain things (use your imagination) all day and night was pretty bad, the worst part was definitely when the man from the room next door snapped and tried to knock my door in during the middle of the night because I got tired of them and gave a bang on their wall for them to stop. I have never legitimately felt unsafe like this at a hotel before. There were, unfortunately, other things that made my time at the Kung Carl unbearable. The two girls in the reception were also condescending and unfriendly, which made me dread every time I had to speak to them. This made me not want to tell the staff what I had experienced from the people next door. I genuinely felt as if they would not have cared and I just wanted to survive my two nights and get out asap. The live music from the hotel's restaurant/bar area downstairs was also disruptive. The hotel threw me off because the reception is situated by the restaurant and you have to pass the bar (and the restaurant) every time you want to head in/out. Feels very much like a night club and not a hotel. The best part of my stay was checking out and leaving. The hotel looks nice and proper, but it's not. I regret staying at this hotel. A total miss for a young person solo traveling. The clientele really made me wonder what kind of place this was.
