Room was clean and breakfast was great. The location is right off downtown Bamberg. If you are ok with a 5-10 minute walk to the historical part of Bamberg, this is a quiet and less busy place to stay.
This is a hotel that's not regularly staffed at the reception. I was a bit confused by the self check-in but ran into the housekeeper. We also couldn't keep our suitcases at the hotel while we toured the town after we checked out. Luckily there was a paid locker at the tourist information center.

The location is good and the breakfast is lovely.
The communication was terrible. There is no reception, nobody to talk to. The hotel responded to booking messages after hours and the phone number is out of service.
