Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Aufenthalt hier. Ja klar, das Hotel hat an der ein oder anderen Stelle sicher ein wenig Patina bekommen, das hat uns aber null gestört. Die vielen wunderschönen Details, die absolut ruhige Lage mitten im Grünen, die tolle kleine Bucht...ein schöner Ort zum Entschleunigen. Alles sehr sauber, Service sehr freundlich vom Zimmermädchen bis zum Manager (der sich persönlich Feedback abgeholt hat), alles prima. Tolles Frühstück (wer hier meckert, dem ist nicht zu helfen).
Ja, der Weg rüber zum Hauptstrand und somit auch in den Ort könnte wirklich mal in Stand gesetzt werden. Ist machbar aber hier kann man sich leicht verletzen. Unnötig.

Der Weg zum Ort ist schrecklich. Einfach erreichbar aber mit Stacheldraht. Passt garnicht zum tollen Hotel. Das Hotel ist super aber den Weg hätten sie machen können.

Hôtel exceptionnel, nous étions en lune de miel et tout était à dispo. Il y a un spa où on a pu faire la formule honet moon 5h de massage et de soin. Une bonne parenthèse, il y a à dispo H24 des navettes pour joindre sa chambre. Le petit dej, un buffet énorme, tout était bon. Le service est là :)

Die Villa ist traumhafte, super Ausstattung, schöner Pool, schöne Badewanne, viel Platz und das Badezimmer im Freien ist immer etwas Spezielles.
Was für mich etwas problematisch war, ist die Kommunikation per Whatsapp. Man scheint nicht verstanden zu werden und die Infos, welche man dort drüber erhaltet, waren mir teils unklar. Auch der Transport mit den Wooden Cars ist speziell, aber doch etwas unpraktisch.

Obiekt jest ładny i w zasadzie to tyle 🤷♂️ obsługa bardzo się stara :)
Był to nasz czwarty hotel podczas naszej podróży po Tajlandii. Najdroższy i wydawać by się mogło ze najlepszy, niestety nic bardziej mylnego.
Minusy:
-pokój z prywatnym basenem ciemny i panuje cały czas wilgoć (nie chodzi tu o klimat Tajlandii)
-śniadania zimne i mało smaczne
-jedzenie w restauracjach mało ma wspólnego z Tajskim (raczej jak w tajskiej restauracji w galerii w Europie)
- dwie noce z rzędu włączał się agregat diesla i nie dało się spać (zlokalizowany tuż przy budynku)
- materace niewygodne
- pokój z widokiem na ogród, okazał się z widokiem na zaplecze techniczne obiektu
- przez pięć dni pobytu plaza zamknięta ponieważ w morzu pływał olej
- na każdym kroku przypominano nam ze z czegoś korzystaliśmy i FV czeka w pokoju (pomimo iż pierwszego dnia zablokowano nam kartę na wypadek nie opłacenia jakiś rzeczy)
- lokalizacja (koniec świata, wiec wszędzie trzeba dojeżdżać)
Ogólnie nie polecamy, na wyspie można znaleźć lepsze (tańsze) miejsca gdzie panuje tajski klimat

Ubytování nám hned od začátku vyrazilo dech. Oáza klidu a odpočinku, vše ze dřeva a krásně to vše voní.
Celý komplex je velice vkusný. Rozhodně je zde velkým plusem soukromí od ostatních hostů, neboť po celém areálu jsou rozmístěny vilky či hotely s bazénem a každý tak má svůj kousek ráje. My jsme měli pokoj s bazénem s výhledem do zahrady a bylo to překrásné.
Velký výběr jídla při snídani. Ať už několik druhů vajíček, smažené vejce, vejce na tvrdo, vejce benedikt nebo wafle, lívance, spousty druhů čerstvého ovoce.
V moři jsme u hotelu nebyli, jelikož se zde držel vyplavený bordel a byli zde poměrně velké vlny celý pobyt, ale kousek za rohem je krásná písčitá pláž s průzračnou vodou. Nicméně stezka na tuto pláž není oficiální a vede po kamenech kolem ostnatého drátu. Hotel by mohl zajistit lepší stezku, neboť tato cesta vede i do blízké vesničky, kde se dají nakoupit nějaké drobnosti, jídlo a jsou zde restaurace, masáže atd. Pláž nám ale vynahradil moc pěkný bazén s výhledem na moře.
Skvělý transfer, který nám usnadnil cestu na letiště Koh Samui, bus-speed boat-bus. Vše krásně navazovalo, bez čekání. Cena za dvě osoby 2100TBH.
Všichni zaměstnanci jsou velice milý a se vším jsou ochotni pomoci.
Měli jsme také vynikající večeři v hotelové restauraci By the Sea, poměr cena výkon dobré.
Byli jsme zde 9 dní z toho jsme 1 den strávili v Národním parku na výletě , který organizovala společnost Orion a dalších 6 dní procestovali ostrov na skůtru, který jsme si půjčili v blízké vesničce v půjčovně Aris bike za 250TBH/den.
Skvělá Fullmoon party v části Haad Rin. Doporučujeme zajít, pokud budete na ostrově v toto období.
Co bych vytknula je to, že do bazénu, který byl součástí našeho pokoje svítilo slunce jen brzy ráno a celý den pak byl ve stínu, bazén byl tedy poměrně chladný.
Zlepšila bych osvětlení na pokoji, ani v koupelně nebyl dostatek světla u zrcadla.
Mínusem bylo také poměrně velké vlhko na pokoji, ačkoliv člověk klimatizoval o 106 či vysoušel programem DRY, bylo zde i tak velké vlhko a blbě se nám dýchalo.

Absolutely fantastic the best hotel of our trip (we travelled all over). We had the room with a private pool over looking the island, the room was incredible, a little wooden van came to collect you each day and they were friendly and there within mins. The whole hotel was amazing, we will be returning for longer, as we only had 3 nights. There was some rocks on the beach to climb over to access the town (if you wish to walk) be careful as they are very uneven and you can easily miss your footing but totally worth doing and the walk is lovely. The hotel overall was out of this world, as was the service. We cannot wait to go back! If your looking to relax - this is the one

Gorgeous architecture, incredible location. Staff were friendly and attentive. The beds were comfortable and the landscaping was marvellous. It was like being in a rainforest oasis with the most exquisite views of a private beach.

We loved the calmness of this wonderful hotel - only the birds and the Geckos sounds in the morning, the waves from a distance - if you'd like to relax it's the perfect stay.

The breakfast was great, best breakfast I had in whole Thailand!
It is like everyone else says: you are directly in the jungle, which means a shower outside and posioness centipeders once or twice. We also had a snake on our balcony who visited us daily.
It's not for everyone, and you should know what you get.
I also want to mention that most of the staff don't speak proper English which made it difficult to communicate sometimes (e.g. when to pick up laundry or with our snake problem).

Die Lage am Hang ist schon toll, es geht auf und ab, dabei hilft aber auch das hauseigene Taxi. Ansonsten alles großzügig, das Zimmer ist sehr groß.
Das Frühstück schmeckt gut und ist reichhaltig.
Der Pool mit den Wasserfällen toll.
Alle Hotelgäste werden per WhatsApp mit dem Checkin vernetzt.
Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und wegen der guten Erfahrungen gekommen. Aber Santhiya setzt den Rotstift an:
Frühstück : Es ist ja immer noch reichlich, aber von einem 3 Sterne Haus nicht sonderlich zu unterscheiden. Es gab mal französischen Käse, geräucherte Lachs, viele Brotsorten usw., alles dem Rotstift zum Opfer gefallen.
Internet: Heute hat jeder ein Handy und ggf. ein Tablet oder Laptop im Gepäck, das braucht Daten! Leider kommt das Santhiya dem nicht! hinterher. Ein lahmes Wi-Fi ist einem 5 Sterne Haus nicht würdig!
Zimmer: Ich habe 11 Lampen gezählt, aber auch wenn alle! angeschaltet sind, kann man kein Buch im Bett lesen.
Verbindungsweg zum Thong Nai Pan Noi Strand: Beim letzten Mal gab es einen sicheren Weg, teilweise mit Treppen, zum Nachbarstrand. Das Areal wurde umgestaltet und der Weg ist zwar noch sichtbar aber nicht begehbar. Dafür gibt es einen unzumutbaren Weg mit rutschigen Steinen, Stacheldraht Begrenzung an fussbreiten Stellen. Nicht auszudenken wenn dort einer fällt und am Stacheldraht Halt sucht oder sogar hinein fällt. Unmöglich und gefährlich! Santhiya ist ein 5 Sterne Haus und keine sternlose Herberge. Hatte per WhatsApp eine Anfrage ans Management geschickt, habe bis jetzt noch keine Antwort (2 Wochen). Very poor!

The hotel is well situated in a beautiful bay. The rooms are well designed, and the beds are comfortable. The staff are generally pleasant, though when things went wrong for us, they weren't very helpful at all.
Our entire family contracted salmonella after two days at the hotel, and spent the remaining four days of our trip in bed with very severe symptoms - vomiting, diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, headaches, nausea. We eventually had to be taken by a nurse to a hospital for tests and treatment. We only ate 1 meal outside the hotel for our entire week-long stay, so it is very likely to have come from the hotel. We met another family who stayed at the Santhiya on the boat back, who also had suspected food poisoning. We reported this to the hotel, including writing an email with clinic test results, but despite several follow ups, their management team still haven't responded to us. Salmonella is very serious particularly for young children (ours are 6 and 4), and we're very disappointed that the hotel haven't shown the courtesy to get back to us or offer any support. This episode ruined our holiday, as well as other Christmas plans we had. Also to note - the website claims they have three restaurants, but in fact one only serves breakfast, and the other two are served by one kitchen and share the same menu.

Unglaublich schöne Thai Architektur in Holz. Konsequent durchgezogener Stil. Mit viel Schnitzerei und farbigen Glas. Grosse Fenster, hoher Wert auf Privatsphäre gehalten. Eigener Pool hoch über den Bäumen mit Blick ins Weite des Dschungels. So eingebettet dass man die zahlreichen Häuschen der Anlage nicht sieht, man fühlt sich allein im Grün, vor sich weit unten in der Bucht das Meer. Hammer!!!!
Alle Türen und Fenster sowie tatsächlich auch das Dach weisen grosse Spalten von mehreren cm auf ( Holz lebt). Insekten und schlanke Tiere haben Zutritt. Im Wohnbereich innen haben wir nur herzige Geckos gesichtet, aber weit mehr vermutet. Das Bad war allerdings für mich Horror. Teilweise offen, teilweise unter schön geschnitten offenen Vordach, sehr stylisch aber dauerhaft und täglich mit Tieren konfrontiert wie Gift spritzende Kröten, viele Tausendfüssler, Gottesanbeterin. Um das Haus herum und folglich auch im offenen Bad und unter dem Dach wohnten mehrere grosse Hausechsen und eine grüne, 1m lange Schlange. So wunderschön das Ressort ist, ich fühlte mich leider stets alarmiert in Bad und Wohnräumen und Aussenbereich. Ein Ausflug war völlig überflüssig mit dieser Schönheit um uns rum.

Während unseres sechstägigen Aufenthalts im Santhiya Hotel bemühten sich die Mitarbeiter stets, uns einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Anfangs erhielten wir ein Zimmer im untersten Geschoss, dessen Aussicht durch eine grüne Hecke eingeschränkt war. Nach zwei Zimmerwechseln verbesserte sich die Aussicht zwar, allerdings hatten wir dann Probleme mit Termiten im Holz des Zimmertisches. Die Zimmer waren durch die umfangreiche Holzverkleidung etwas dunkel und ließen wenig Sonnenlicht herein. Der Poolbereich und der Strandabschnitt entsprachen nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen. Auch die Lage des Hotels erwies sich als nicht ideal, da es schwierig war, das Hotelgelände zu verlassen. Für mehr Mobilität mieteten wir für die sechs Tage einen Roller und erkundeten täglich die Strände im Nordwesten von Koh Phangan. Das Frühstück war zufriedenstellend und bot eine gute Auswahl. Das hoteleigene Restaurant konnte uns jedoch nicht vollständig überzeugen, auch wenn die Aussicht dort in Ordnung war. Insgesamt hinterließ das Hotel bei uns einen gemischten Eindruck. Wir würden nicht noch einmal im Santhiya bleiben und denken, dass die Hotelanlage die beste Zeit hinter sich hat. Nothing, don't go there. The hotel is under construction!!!!
The room smelled terrible, the AC was leaking to the floor, it was impossible to lock the room's door (any one can get in), the hotel was under construction and there were a lot of construction noises. It was our honeymoon and it destroyed our trip since the hotel offered a room in the same building which was old and had a lot of problems. Eventually, we asked to cancel the reservation showing them the videos of the problems in the room since we didn't get what we paid for but the hotel didn't want to refund so we had to book to another hotel. This is unacceptable and we will refer to a legal consultation when we will get back home.

Alles! Tolles Resort, wunderschön angelegt und super freundliches Personal. Große Auswahl beim Frühstück (interkontinental und thailändisch). Toller Pool, schöner kleiner Strand (allerdings steinig). Wir waren in zwei verschiedenen Zimmern, da wir uns spontan entschieden hatten noch zu verlängern. Der erste Bungalow mit eigenem Pool war klasse, der zweite Bungalow mit Meerblick (und Blick auf den Sonnenaufgang aus dem Bett!) war weltklasse! Das Bad unter freiem Himmel ist gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber auch total schön (hin und wieder krabbelt halt auch mal was rum). Leckeres Essen und Cocktails in beiden Restaurants. Das Hotel bietet einen Shuttle-Service (kostenpflichtig) zur Full Moon Party an (Start: 18:00 Uhr, Ende 23:00 Uhr), hat perfekt geklappt. Man kommt über einen kleinen Fußweg (man sollte gut zu Fuß sein) an den anderen Strandabschnitt (Sandstrand). Die Gegend ist etwas ab vom Schuss, gibt aber trotzdem einige Restaurants, Bars und Läden. Das Hotel hat ein eigenes Schnellboot (kostenpflichtig), das einen von Koh Samui direkt zum Hotel bringt (ca. 35 min) und zurück. Man muss dafür in der Lobby auf Koh Samui am Ablegesteg einchecken.
War ein bisschen unklar kommuniziert, dass es eine Lobby am Ablegesteg in Koh Samui gibt und dass man eh schon auf der Liste des Hotels für das Speedboat steht und nichts selber buchen braucht.

Die gesamte Anlage, sehr charmant. Wir empfanden es überhaupt nicht heruntergekommen, sondern liebten das alte Holz und die Natur überall. Unser Zimmer war ein Traum! Sehr sauber, das Personal äußerst aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Le look très spécial, le Santhiya est un endroit magique logé dans un jardin magnifique. C'était le deuxième séjour, je ne suis pas certaine de revenir pourtant.
Malheureusement pour le prix on ne nous a pas renseigné qu'une des deux piscines est sous rénovation, donc impraticable. Le deuxième bémol, la nouvelle façon de passer commande pour les boissons et plats. Tout doit se faire par GSM, quand le Wi-Fi n'est pas génial, rien ne fonctionne, on vous oblige à avoir le téléphone sur vous tout le temps. Ni nécessaire ni romantique ni même pratique!
