Breakfast was poor … everything had run out even coffee and tea …
The gentleman at the breakfast desk was rude to his staff !

Spacious well equipped rooms with comfortable beds . The corridors were quiet at night
Rooms are quite dated and in need of an upgrade . The shower temperature didn’t remain constant

Lovely staff on reception and the whole interior was clean and tidy. The room was spacious and lovely and cool on a hot summer day. The blackout curtains were great too
The exterior was tired and the front doors weren’t working. The mattress was very uncomfortable and there were only two teabags provided.

Rooms and communal areas very clean. Staff pleasant and professional.
Location ok if using train, difficult to access car parking as on busy roundabout. Not pleasant around hotel. No atmosphere, expensive restaurant and mediocre self serve breakfast. Not really 4* in my opinion. Will not stay again.
