Location and setting great, attractive hotel and bar / restaurant, staff friendly, good choice of drinks. Powerful (over bath) shower.
Room clean and comfortable, but dated and poorly lit. Not great value at over £100 per night midweek. Endless wait for basic food for one (refunded without asking when chased, twice) and really poor when it arrived. Didn’t eat there again for breakfast (x2) and dinner (x1) as a result. I’m not a complainer by nature and this place could be really great but my experience was disappointing.
