Great location in Potts Point, close to restaurants and to the Kings Cross train station. The room we requested was available and was excellent. Easy to get to room via either stairs or lift. The hotel building has good heritage values and looks great. Highly recommended for a short stay.
It appeared there was only one staff member in the hotel - even though this was a weekday. This staff member had other duties as well as reception, so nobody was there when we arrived. Could not get to our room. It was too early for the after-hours arrangement (an envelope with a room key in a lockbox outside) to apply, so we just had to wait. It would be good if the hotel could employ more staff.
Cafe on the ground floor is very convenient, but of only average quality. Better breakfast options are available in nearby Llankelly Place.

Superb location, across road from supermarket, loads of food options and 2 min walk to station. Quiet street for high density area. Staff were extremely helpful.
No warning that undergoing a refurbishment. Nor that the lift only serviced three floors. I was on fourth so struggled up stairs with cases. Bathroom beyond tiny. Knees hit wall if you used toilet if over 180cm in height. Lovely cafe outside if you want a jack hammer for company.

Great location. Room seemed newly decorated and clean.
Shower flooded as plug full of hair, nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. Fridge not working.
Biggest problem was noise from 7 am from workmen in room above. Sounded like we were on a building site. We had flown over night with no sleep to be woken early was not what we expected.
