The Shireburn is over 300 years old and full of character they have done a good job of making the rooms nice and the food and atmosphere in the restaurant was great
We booked 4 rooms three doubles and one twin. They were all the same price but one of the doubles rooms was a lot smaller and less grand. It was fine and comfortable but maybe there should be different prices between the rooms

Everything was superb 👌 we had our dog with us and the staff were very dog friendly and even gave him sausages for breakfast. Our breakfast was excellent smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Will definitely return x

Lovely old fashioned coaching inn with nice atmosphere , open fires, flagstone floors etc. Great location for exploring the Ribble valley. The room was very nicely decorated and a good size, and very comfortable
The location of our room. ( Room 4) It faced the front of the inn and was right on the road. There was quite a lot of traffic noise from early morning. Also, there were refuse & glass collections & deliveries very early in the morning each day ( around 6am) which woke us up, as the vehicles seemed to stop right outside our room. Would return to the Shireburn Arms in the future but request a different room.

Staff at check in were great. Very helpful and friendly. Excellent location for walking.
I stayed in room 4 which was at ground floor, end of corridor, windows faced out onto road and not double glazed. After a long day walking I was expecting a good rest but was woken several times by road and parking traffic outside my sponsor. Most notably a bin lorry beeping and declaring “vehicle reversing” at 5am. Additionally, shower pressure in room was very poor.
