The staff were lovely. Truely dog friendly. Location good too and dinner food and service very good.
Our our daughter and husband said the bed in their room (5) was in need of replacements as one side seemed to have collapsed. They also reported some black mould and we too found a little in the bathroom. Also lots of dust on light fittings.
Breakfast was very slow. Had to ask more than once for more coffee and milk. Far too few staff. Took 45 mins to get a drink. Haddock very dry. For what it was it is expensive.

We couldn't fault the restaraunt, the food was fantastic.
Having stayed previously, 3 years ago, we were disappointed to see that the rooms have not been redecorated, they are looking very tired, are very dated and need some maintenance. Our room needed the carpet replacing, the hook on the bathroom door was not fit for purpose, it was ready to fall off if any weight was added. The bathroom as a whole was beyond ready for a refit.
We arrived a little late and asked for the receptionist to book us a table at the restaraunt next door whilst we got changed, she said she would but once we got there they had not heard of our booking.
