Service They charge for water, never had any experience in any hotels in the world! No slippers on request, they say it’s in short supply, that’s not the customer’s fault that you didn’t plan well or you just want to make money! Each delivery cost 5 pounds, even if ask for toothbrushes and towels.

Hotel and room was generally nicely decorated, a nice environment. Staff were very polite.

Room was not made up one day so I returned to unmade bed and dirty mugs etc. Boring system of lodging credit card to pay for a drink after 10pm, not good enough to show them the room key and reservation card... they also had system problems so long wait to register. None of this was suggested at check in, would have been helpful. No food or anything hot as food room service stops after 9.30pm. Was told I could order a delivery pizza! Not good for me as I work 9am to 10pm.

Attitude of the receptionist I booked a twin room 3 months before for me and my dad, when we got there they didnt have any rooms left apart from a queen room which was small Cleaners left my door wedge opend all day while I was out Food was expensive for the small portion

The staff didn’t seem to have a clue to what they were doing. They charged me for parking when they said it was free. Then charged me a £50 holders fee that they never told me about because I paid cash. They said I would receive it back and only got £32 back. They didn’t tell me breakfast was included with the room until I checked out so I quickly had breakfast and then they decided to charged me for it hence the why i was only refunded £32 even though it was included with the room

Problem with the credit card that was used fraudulently during the night by the hotel with several attempts of various amounts, after the payment of the stay was made at check-in which led to the cancellation of the card. During the stay I tried to talk to the manager who was never available to clarify me about what happened.

The atmosphere, surroundings and everything about the hotel was absolutely amazing. We only had breakfast here but that was great value for money. It was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived and I will definitely look forward to staying again in the future.

My room never had heating and I had a brand new baby and they never did anything about it so won’t be staying here again and there was other people complaining as well all about different things they should do there jobs probably before they put people in room what don’t have heating and when they no there is a baby there

Not much really room was a decent size but that was about it

The bed was absolutely terrible and uncomfortable. The sofa bed was set up and had a bungee cord hanging out from under it that my 2 year pulled on and could have hurt herself. The bathroom wasn’t very clean covered in hair

One of the rooms (302) had a very strong smell. The coffee Sachets were not fresh. I wasn’t able To sleep all night because of the smell. The staff at the bar was not friendly at all especially for breakfast. Absolutely no good morning or how are you today. The other room (301) table lamp bulb was fused.

Room was dirty . Glob of chewing gum on the floor and mould all over the windows. I was also charged twice for breakfast! I’ve raised all of the issues with management but have had zero response to my emails

Quiet room , comfortable

Light in the room was flickering on/off with no way to turn it off, we were right next to the entrance meaning that people could see in if they were stood outside. Ordered room service via the app that didn’t come and when I enquired I was told they never received the order - still had to pay for it!

The breakfast was not good value for money

We just stayed overnight and didn’t have breakfast. The room was good, clean, comfortable and spacious.

My only issue was we weren’t impressed by housekeeping and our room was not cleaned in the way we are used to. This could just be a one off so it wouldn’t put me off staying in the future. It’s located on a busy roundabout which wasn’t great in rush hour but was fine for the rest of our stay.

Check in was relatively easy and the manager friendly and helpful..

Sadly, we felt we had walked into a Fawlty Towers sketch. Bedroom door did not lock when leaving the room which was very disconcerting. Thankfully, I had to leave the room where we discovered the issue. I rang down to get help and was told ten minutes. Twenty five minutes later, I had to pack my case back up and take it down with me to eat. Not exactly what we had in mind in a restaurant. Room was changed. We then had a mediocre meal sadly. We had to keep calling the waiters over to take our orders. Many of the draught beers/ Guiness had run out. No decaf teabags available. Breakfast time didn't get much better. Cold plates, toast machine did not work, bread, croissants etc were not replenished and we had to ask for these items. We were told that breakfast finished at 10.30am by the night porter and arranged to have breakfast later. We got down at 9.45am to be told the buffet food was being removed shortly. We had been told the wrong time. We paid to have the Hilton experience. So disappointed.

Excellent food, lovely modern hotel, very clean. Very close to pepper pig world (reason for travel) Extra bonus kids eat free with a paying adult which was a nice touch

The bathroom was clean and the provision of bathing liquids made it convenient. The bed was comfortable and the conditioning system was working fine. The reception and dining areas were beautiful and good for taking pictures. In terms of breakfast, the food was well prepared and there was plenty of parking space too.

My room didn`t have a bar fridge, it was quite annoying when I realized that. Luckily it was still winter when I went, had it been summer I would have gone straight to the reception and requested a change. Now that summer is upon us. as a traveller just make sure your room has a functional bar fridge and the air conditioning system is working.

Breakfast was extremely disappointing!!! Extremely limited choices of items! Scrambled eggs had an off odour ! No veggie sausages as they were “ keeping them for lunch!!!” Total lack of effort !! No sweetener for tea or coffee, although a waitress eventually found one sachet. Staff busy helping themselves to the tea/coffee whilst guest are having breakfast (not the waitresses in the breakfast room) Has to rank as the worst breakfast I’ve ever had in a hotel. Shocking breakfast for this brand and the size of the hotel. Have a look before you spend your money - you may be better off going to the Shell garage round the corner!

Most things, had to get someone to come change the bedding as it hadn’t been changed since the previous visitors, the food was not great very over priced ! Especially the breakfast
